*OVERTAKING IS ALLOWED* During my secondary school days in literary and debating club,my teacher called out 4 students,and he gave them 4 balloons to blow air into them, until d balloons will burst. They keep blowing air into them,the first person was able to burst his,the second person too. But the third and fourth person got tired that they couldn't burst theirs . He asked us,what we learnt then,but we couldn't deduced anything out of it then. After,he told us that,the first person bursting his balloon ahead or before others,didn't stop others from bursting theirs. Even though they start blowing the balloons at the same time,they didn't all burst the balloons the same time. That is exactly how life is. You can start a journey with someone,that the person gets there before you,doesn't mean you won't get there unless you stopped moving or trying. When these students were blowing air into the balloons,two out of them got tired and couldn't continue with the blowing again. That is how some us do behave. When we see that those of us that we are in the same age group,or the people will start doing sth together are ahead of us,or have achieved before us,we become weary at that point failing to realize that life is like an express way where overtaking is allowed. That someone gets there before u,doesn't mean u won't get there too. Why you need to see life as an express way where overtaking is allowed is because,there have been some people who have been behind in one time in their live but since they realised that life is like riding a bicycle,that for them to keep their balance,they need to keep moving,are now people who are currently occupying d top position(s). They didn't let the success of others to cowed them into failure. The current African champions,Cameroon,last won their continental title almost a decade ago; but now,they are African champions because they keep moving. If ur vehicle(life) is moving on a low level on d express way,definitely,there is sth wrong with ur vehicle(life). And until u fix ur vehicle,u can't move at a fast pace. What are those things that can hinder ur vehicle(life) from moving at a fast pace on the express? They can be ur past failures,fears,worries or your I can't spirit. Until you fix all these faults in ur vehicle(life),u will keep moving at the low pace or even stop moving finally. Remember,you can't cross the sea(move at a faster pace) if you don't lose d sight of d shore(fix those things that are wrong with ur life). Another thing that can keep ur vehicle moving at a lower pace there by restricting u to overtake in life is d kind of loads u have in ur vehicle. A vehicle that has no load(fears,worries,I can't spirit) will move at a faster pace than the one with the loads. For u to move ahead and overtake to take ur position,u need to remove every load (fears,worries,disappointment) from ur vehicle(life). And if u keep moving at this low pace,u may find it difficult to get to ur destination(achieve success). When someone is moving faster than u,instead of u to allow his fast pace to stop u from moving,just fix ur vehicle and keep going. It is true that u can't go back to make a brand new beginning,but u can start from where u are,and make a bright ending. Don't be discouraged if someone is doing better or has gone ahead of u because u need to know that it is not the speed but ur direction that will lead u to ur destination. Y must u allow the speed of others hinder you from getting to ur destination when u have d direction(focus,motivation,zeal and so on). Remember,life is a race. In a race,it is not those that are ahead of u(that are making it or have made it before u) that u will be looking at,but you look at the prize before u (what u are planning to achieve) Why most people lose in a race is because they focus on their competitors(others). I want u to know that winners focus on wining,while losers focus on winners. Who told u that u can't make it again? Let me tell u,the ladder of success is never crowded at d top. But do u know that u may not see d space at d top if u focus on those at the top of the ladder (those ahead of u) instead of concentrating at d ladder(where you are going and planning to achieve) What can stop u from getting to d top of d ladder(career) is when u start looking at the crowd other than the ladder itself. If ur attention is on those at d top of d ladder,then u will never have d direction to d top because it is what u give attention that will give u direction. Who told u u can't make it again because what u are planning to do or doing already has more successful people. I want u to know that the sky is big enough for all the birds to fly. There own success can't hinder urs. Remember,'Olamide is still alive,and Lil Kesh is blowing'. Free urself today from that notion that u can't make it again because ur mates or ur junior are making it or have made it while u are yet to. Shake of that fear;summon the courage and get started.
