There surely is bound to be some form of celebrations in Catalunya right as F.C. Valencia handed a major boost to Barcelona and Sevilla in LaLiga’s title race BY beating Real Madrid 2-1 at the Mestalla.

Valencia shocked the visitors with two fast goals in just 9 minutes into the game to record only their second victory over Madrid in 15 league meetings and bring the leaders’ six-game unbeaten run in all competitions to an end.

The home side went ahead early in the game when Simone Zaza’s spectacular turn and half-volley after four minutes had the home fans celebrating wildly in anticipation of happy evening for themselves and their darling team and this was further confirmed when Fabian Orellana scored his fifth goal of the season following a clinical counter-attack five minutes later.

The visitors then gradually came into the game and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a much needed inspirational goal through a header just before the end of a breathless first half of football to give his side some hope.
