I am American. I would like to know the differences between hospitals in the USA and Lagos, Nigeria. Does someone in Lagos have to pay upfront to have a surgical procedure done ? Can someone 16 or 17 schedule a surgery without guardian or parental consent ? Would the hospital require a 'next of kin' notification on record ? I will be grateful for your answers. - Jiiveshi |

They usually require a deposit before the procedure. A 16 or 17 year old requires a guardian or parental consent. You are required to fill in a next of kin contact details and that's it for most hospitals. 2 Likes |
