[quote author=Stevengold post=54055288]I thought this cure was allegedly found by a Nigerian.

It was but due to the myopic nature of the Nigerian govt they disapproved his theory and that is how they keep on destroying innovations of Nigerians

No Nigerian should comment on this thread. We are useless in the areas of research and invention/innovation.

We only know how to consume and even try to use it better than the manufacturers.

Nonsense

An African doctor based in US cured AIDS using herbs and food. And proved his case beyond all reasonable doubt in court and won. All they did was to poison him.

Useless health minister, useless govt excluding Osinbajo.
I think people have misunderstood the minister of health...I don't think the lecturer passed his drugs through the proper and ethical method for tests and human trials. He should have known better as a university lecturer.

The human immune system already defeated the HIV/AIDS virus many years ago. By the way, Nigerian researchers working with more advanced solution already solved it some years back and it was reported even here in Nairaland.

An indigenous practioner a Professor from Micheal okpara university recently pronounced that he found possible cure.

Are we sure this recent claim is not by a group patronaging the same vacine.

The black soil has embeded in it solutions to all human problems. Only we the african blacks are not motivated enough by creative innovations by our political leaders.

Details of a research is enough proof of a "likely cure". If the Nigerian has something, ask him to send me a message and we can become rich together.

I will connect him with people that will promote his "cure". But he needs to show his "particulars" before we will consider him.

True science speaks for itself. It is not magic.

Don't mind that man jaawe... What he did was actually that he transfused blood of an uninfected patients into infected ones. At this time, the antibodies in the blood(newly infused) is very much active, thus, capable of still fighting some infections making it possible for an infected person to be free from some ill symptoms for a while. It should be noted that HIV destroys Tcells as a result Antibodies(B cells) cannot be activated.

His discovery has been rubbished by the Minister of health. The minister said that he didn't pass through ethical committee approval. See PHD syndrome in action. We can never celebrate ours.

What the human immune system does is protect the body from disease. They fight like army defending the body and it was designed to work that way by the God of evolution..

What this means is there're many sicknesses you should've had, but your immune system killed the disease pathogens without even your knowledge. The HIV/AIDS virus is just one of many of such disease pathogens and the body armies had figured a way to defeat it. The HIV/AIDS has been severely beaten like Nigerian army dealing a big blow to Boko haram rendering them powerless.

This is what former president of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki was trying to say some years back, but he was shouted down by multinational pharmaceutical companies and their agents who prefer selling their drugs to the world.

You could have HIV/AIDS and still live out the rest of your life till old age.

On the more advanced solution invented by Nigerian researchers you can Google it. The scientists already released the information to the world and it was discussed here on Nairaland last month. There's a good chance the European researchers has stolen a Nigerian invention.
