Don't no about that but I don't think buhari was doing Nigerians a favour,he was just following d constitution. again even d choice of osinbajo as VP wasn't buharis decision. it was a collective political decision

Exactly. Favour indeed.

Plus Buhari, if given the choice, would have picked a Northerner. Chief of bigots himself.

"Truth is Professor Osinbajo is re-navigating the country in the right direction and should be encouraged to do more by President Buhari. If a man discovers a snake and a woman kills it, it doesn’t matter who did what. The glory ultimately goes to President Buhari for having the wisdom of entrusting Nigeria to such a loyal and dependable ally. Baba should ignore the demons of power who may wish to drive a wedge between them. Any parent or sibling would be proud of a child making the family great. This is what Osinbajo is doing and he should be commended and applauded for it."

Interesting to observe how the N and SW APC folks navigate this tricky time - considering unofficial reports of the president being away for at least four months.

Notice of late in the SW the sudden bashing of PMB, their supposed first love in majority of the SW during the elections and praise of PYO whilst in the N they hold rallies in support of their 'brother' and look with suspicion at their supposed allies in the western half of the south.

Intriguing political scenes in the days ahead.

Still on the hype?

Buhari is not dead yet but Yorubas are already hyping Osinbade, portraying him as a better President than Buhari, ready to stab the North at the back and grab the mantle of power.

Where is the love for "Sai barber" Yorubas once professed? Where is thy loyalty my Yoruba brothers?

Why are you so treacherous?
They can never be trusted. back stabbers.

The problem with many of you with this tribal sentiment is that you will never see anything good in what the VP is doing, provided he's not from the north. Nigeria is for everybody and that must be respected. Any tribe can rule.

Why are you so treacherous?

The North will never trust the Yorubas again,it was too early for them to betray Buhari, the man they once package as Messiah and all of a sudden they are now packaging him as a failure so that their brother will take over power.
The northerners are watching the scenario quitely, the outcome of what will happen will be very brutal.

Oh I'm not the only one saying it. CallmeGlad The earlier you wake up and smell the coffee the better for you.

These people are as disloyal as they come. Yesterday I saw a page about the reactions of Nigerians to President Buhari's phone call to Adesina and to my amazement all the criticism and mockery were coming from Yorubas. Why the sudden change? Don't they want "Sai barber" anymore?

When did they become opposition? I thought Buhari was their man and they got Hausas back.

Gladys I'm not a tribalist, I just find treachery repulsive.

What a pity.....before u die of hatred for d Yoruba's...know DAT what u call treachery is simple d tenet of democracy; ability to withdraw ur support for any leader whi is not performing, exercising ur political power which resides with d electorates. And its not only d Yoruba's who are showing their displeasure at buhari's regime, even the northerns are not happy.....if u doubt me, raise Buhari issue wit any aboki in ur area n see the response u will get. Go n ask Obj wen he was President.... D Yoruba's were not fully in his support. So relax and receive calmness.....the Yoruba's are not blind followers. U

Your comment is filled with treachery, hatred and tribalism. Do you think the Yorubas care if it's their own that is there or not? What we want is good government and by reason of that is why they voted for an opponent instead of GEJ at the last presidential election. For PMB to give PYO the order to handle everything in his absence is a credit that should be given to him meanwhile PYO in the president absence is handling things well which has nothing to do with the fact he is our own or not. If he fails woefully, we will criticise him. When has it become treachery to criticise bad governance? Nonsense!

@ CallmeGlad, God bless you dear

A yoruba accusing me of treachery. Wonders!

Some are just here to criticise. Whoever is praising PYO is definately returning the glory back to PMB, because the Prof. is acting in the capacity of Sai Baba. Baba rest on and come back healthy. God bless.

I think you are getting it all wrong. Every successful policy that has been rolled out by the Ag. President which has added positive value to the life of the populace should be credited to the president who has potray the hallmark of good leadership by devoluting absolute power to his deputy while away, compared to some domocratic rulers who render their deputy so useless that you doubt if those rulers were sworn in with a deputy. Permit me to take you back to history during Buhari's reign as the country's head of state, he devoluted absolute authority to Tunde Idiagbon who was his deputy so much that when those who witnessed that government want to say anything about it, they mention more of Idiagbon than Buhari. We love the Buhari led administration but it has to proffer pragmatic and quick solutions to the problems of the country that will advance the standard of living of the common man. #TeamAnticipatingBuhari'sReturn

February 8: Close door meeting with Emir Sanusi (Astute banker and former CBN governor)

February 16: He presided over the first National Economic Council meeting of the year on February 16. The meeting directed the CBN to review the foreign exchange policy. The meeting also resolved that fresh $250 million be injected into the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF). The CBN subsequently released about $500 million through the interbank market, where the 23 banks bought $371m.

The dollar crashed between N400 and N450 against the earlier N525.

The naira also gained against other currencies such as the Pound Sterling, which traded at 645 a day earlier but slipped to 610 while the Euro came down from N537 to N507 at the end of trading yesterday.

Also during the week, the CBN began moves to fund commercial banks with additional Forex to carter for school fees, medicals and personal travelling allowance (PTA) and business travel allowance (BTA) at a special rate.

Summary: Sanusi's economic policy is working!!!

What kind stupid assertion is this? Nowhere in the world you say? Do you realise that we have great brains scattered across the world building empires for foreign countries while theirs (Nigeria) is deteriorating?

Please stop displaying your stupidity or blank bias.

Bro , the lady u just insulted Callmeglaad has a better understanding than u do. Its not about the thousands of brain scattered abroad .Its about WHO can unseat an incumbent GCFR. Believe it or not there was absolutely no one other than Buhari who could have done that. Buhari had that popularity in the north, plus the north were seriously waiting to take back power after years of "being left out" ... and with the aid if tinubu and co ,Buhari was sold to the southwest .

you gerrit now ?
