If true, then those who advised the U.S president on that matter are definitely misleading him. Iraq was not a nuclear state, nor was Syria but the unrest in those countries is still having a huge and negative impact on the world. So how would someone just attack a war- ready nuclear nation such as North Korea without taking into account the messy outcome?

In a dramatic shift from traditional policy, an internal White House review on North Korea strategy revealed that the option to use military force or a regime change to curb the threat of North Korean nuclear weapons was on the table, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

This review comes at the heels of a report claiming President Donald Trump believed the "greatest immediate threat" to the US was North Korea's nuclear program.

[b]There is a certain amount of nukes and sophistication of the nuke that would create a total deterrence against US aggression.
North-Korean nukes as at now does not offer that deterrence.
All their 20-30 mid-range nukes would be shot down by US jets before it leaves North-korea.

Misleading assurance just like the ones that made George W. Bush believe the Iraqi people would cheer at US troops entering Bagdad at the fall of Saddam and things would go smoothly from there as planned.

Saddam was defeated in 2003 but the war is still going on.

How does this change the fact that North korea would be utterly crushed by 1/10000th of America's military might?
