Situation are likely to be different in different countries. Nigeria as a whole is not facing the same situation USA might be facing. See,in this life, you dont blame the country you were born because been born poor is not your fault but to die as a poor man is your own fault (no argument). I get tired of hearing youth of nowaday blaming the country for not being successful. Don't get me wrong here, i know Nigeria has to be blame to some extent. Hear this, there are poor people in the richest countries, even there are beggars on the streets of USA likewise there are rich people in the poorest country, listen, d determining factor for your success is not based on location, it is actually based on individuals( thanks to Mute Efe for this quote ).

Believe it or not, there are people in this country that are getting richer, buying houses,cars (it is as if recession is in their own favour)but they are into legal business(not all rich people are in ponzi schemes,politics, drugs,yahoo yahoo). Why do you think they get richer day by day despite recession. Simple!!! It is because they are actually taming situations into their own advantage.

In this present world, you don't sit back and watch how situations tame you,you tame situation(since God has given Man the dominion of all things in earth). Successful people like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, Aliko Dangote took advantage of what their environment were facing and it turn out to be a material wealth for them.

The first thing to do inorder to tame situation around you is to identify that important thing your environment is lacking. To be sincere with you, this is the hardest part but it takes critical thinking to know what your environment is really lacking. Dangote actually used this to get successful. He noticed that Nigeria lacks infrastructure and in a short time Nigeria will start developing( in which she cannot develop with adequate infrastructure ), that is where the thought of cement came in. What can you actually build without a cement in Nigeria (all buildings can't be made of glass, you know). If you notice , am very sure that there were other cements back then but why is it that Dangote cement prevail over all of them(Have you ever thought that?). Simple!!! Dangote marketed himself to the people and the power behind the cement lies on the brand,Dangote(apart from quality).

Inconclusion, don't sit there and blame your country, don't have the mindset that since my brother is in USA then am successful(keep decieving yourself), don't think that when you graduate,you will see job(welcome to the stagnant labour market). Create jobs rather than looking for one. Be your own boss. Take advantage of situations around you and be persistent in whatever you do. The key to success is success itself!!
