ABOUT THE BOOK

The Law of Moses was given to the Jews at Mount Sinai through Moses to regulate their religious, moral and social life. Quite a few Churches till date still teach and practice some of the injunctions contained in the Law.

Is the Church under the Law of Moses? If yes, why did Jesus come? If the Law was enough to justify us before God, there was no need for Jesus to come. God would have simply asked everyone to start keeping the Law as a prerequisite to be righteous. But the word says; “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” (Galatians 2:16)

The scripture contains overwhelming evidences pointing to the abolition of the Law. The adherents of the Law are the major cause of doctrinal controversies on several issues that is attempting to tear the church apart.

This book unveils most of the scriptures that affirms the abolition of the Law with the intent of enlightening those that are still holding on to some of the instructions contained in it to have a re think and embrace the grace the gospel has brought.

Even the Ten Commandments contained in the Law do not meet up the New Testament standard in spite of the moral lessons it portrays.

It is hoped that the disunity that has plagued the church for decades as a result of adherence to the Law will soon be a thing of the past as we begin to fully understand the gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus.

Read with open mind and humility as it is pride in disguise to hold on to beliefs and practices that has its root in the Law of Moses in spite of evidences that tags such practices improper in the light of the New Testament Revelation.
