Yes I know... And YES, I watched him play, right from Tunisia '94, USA '94 Qualifiers down to the Tournament proper.. So I have it all at the back of my palms..
All I'm saying is, Iheanacho is slowly growing into his own man, on the ball... And hey, he can do even greater things, if and only if he keeps his head down. Just keep your eyes open on him

Yekini made his debut in the 80's. He wasn't popular than but he honed his skills and blossomed in the 90's.

Forget that Nacho plays for a big club, he still has time on his side.

For those saying he missed chances, maybe Guardiola benching him has affected his confidence.

Hey... That I said I watched Yekini from 1994, does not mean you jump into conclusion and deduce that probably, I was born in the early 90s or somn'. I'm no kid okay; so I've been there and done that, in a manner of speaking.
To set the record straight here, I'm way older than that; I just used Yekini's brightest years as my case study there, so don't you get it twisted at all. I'm no little kid. I know Yekini and all his great goal-poaching exploits too well. Both for his Portuguese club and for Naija.
All I'm saying here is, you don't just judge a player (especially one who's still developing) on the basis of his actions and/or inactions in JUST ONE FRIENDLY MATCH. Iheanacho is good, no question... Give the young man time to blossom. Do not condemn a man too early in the day. The boy is still good. Allow his star to rise and sparkle well before you start to dim it.
And do take note... I NEVER compared both players just yet; I only pointed out that one could, over time, do well to surpass the other, if he remains consistent, and KEEPS HIS HEAD DOWN. Please. Always proofread comments before dissecting them.
