The Stage by Nobody: 12:38pm On Mar 08, 2017
The stage was set
Ignorance asked a question
"Has God said?"
Foolishness gave the answer
Revealed the weakness
Then the first lie
"You shall not surely die"
Now, that is all we do; die

And now the stage is set
The graves are alive
Earth refusing its dead
For blessed are the meek
The Earth is theirs'
Earth would no longer pray to the Heavens
For they have become its doors
Life itself would no more die

Then shall ten thousand voices
Sing ten thousand million songs in one second
Shall we no longer kill for the gods
For they are our creators
And now, sadness would see what happy is,
Happy would see what sadness was
For not even the thinnest line
Would separate the present from eternity

Analogy

The poem is all about the creation of man, his fall, (redemption), resurrection and life after.
The use of "gods" is to create tolerance for many religions as possible, but though the first stanza is more centered on Judaism/Christianity.

Thanks
but a question mark won't go there. I deliberately removed "then" before the "shall".

i am glad you love it...thanks
