Hyundai Elantra with its grinding brake problem is a moving death trap. The brake system fails completely on rough road. This car is not good for Nigerian's roads

Talking from experience l and coming from a family and extended family of Honda freaks, I will say that the only good thing about Honda is that they have better cosmetic designs than Toyota both interior and exterior but generally speaking, Honda is a terrible brand anytime.
You can't embark on a journey of up to 500 miles with a Honda with confidence. That explains why you don't see any commercial transport company including any Honda brand in their fleet. They have very poor reliability ratio.
If Honda Accord troubles you particularly "Baby Boy, End of Discussion, Discussion Continues, and Evil Spirit", you'd think some with craft covers haven taken up the task to mess up your mobility.

Honda is not meant to be packing pure water, dragging space with commercial buses or rough driving with multiple pot holes, if you can avoid all these, is a wonderful car.
I bought my naija used last year april, no part changed yet and i drive to highland from redeem camp everyday with proper maintenance. Have also traveled to different states.

I was expecting to see cars like Landover freelanderr,Peugeot 607,Mitsubishi gallant, etc,the cars u researched are relatively new cars in Nigeria,here a window that refused to wind up or Honda brake problems are not counted as problems, what we use to measure reliability in Nigeria is engine and transmission longetivity.

Any "Best Selling" car is not problematic.

If you say Honda Civic, that new model accord are problematic, Oga, you need to define the word "problematic" again.

haahaaa, very correct,the OP is listing very good cars like Honda Accord,Civic,f150 as problematic cars,what if he drives a Murano, Peugeot 607 or freelander,he will run mad, buying a Peugeot 607 is like buying hypertension and ulcer join,a car with two batteries,a brain box for headlights,wipers,ac,etc.a friend of mine was rendered penniless by that car,every month it spends 20 days in the workshop and the remaining 10 days you will be tensed and driving with the anticipation of what else will go wrong.

Na even get time ,this is the most useless trend on Nairaland...who calls cars like civic and accord bad cars? He doesn't know what his doing at all.
