A Successful Career And A Happy Family? by assisttohire: 4:17pm On Mar 14, 2017 |
The average Nigerian woman wakes up at 5 am to get the children ready for school and probably prepare the husband for work also. Only after doing the necessary chores will she prepare herself for work. If it's a typical 9 am to 5 pm job, she would probably get home at 8 pm considering the Lagos traffic situation. The children will be in the care of nannies or a relative if she's lucky. It takes the grace of God to find the strength to cook at 8 pm after going through so much stress at work and on the way back home. So I ask, is it possible with this crazy schedule, for women to have a successful career and a happy family? How do we maintain the balance? Or do we have to sacrifice one for the other?
