Weldone alli have a 2007 lexus rx350 , i scanned it with an obd2 scanner, find below the following codes i got and pls let me know the solution to the problem. P0300- random/multiple cylinder misfire detected P0301- cylinder 1 misfire detected P0303- cylinder 3 misfire detected P0016- crankshaft position- camshaft position correlation P0019- same as P0016 P0021- "A" camshaft position- Timing over- Advanced or system performance P0025- "B" camshaft position- Timing over retarded P0352- ignition coil "B" primary/secondary circuit P0354- ignition coil "  " primary/secondary circuitP0356- ignition coil "F" primary/secondary circuit P0441- evaporative emission system incorrect purge flow P0455- evaporative emissin system leak detected(large leak) cc ; gazzuzz, etal please help and thanks |

thanks everyone, when i shipped in this car it refused to start and we discover it was the top gasket that was the problem and the mechanic repaired it, since then code P0300,P0301,P0303 and P0016 has been there, i changed plugs and coil, the codes were still there, the remaining codes came up not quite long and it takes time before it starts(has happened 3 times now). Let me know if any other information is needed. |

tunde783: tunde783: 2GR-FE Aluminum Block, aluminum head. Car came in without any engine compression. Possible history of sever over heating. Head cylinder resurface, valve grind,valve seal replacement, head gasket replacement, coil pack replacement water pump replacement. That should have solved the problem if there were no cracks on the cylinder or block. Presently you have misfires on a couple of cylinders, you have timing marks that are off by a couple of degrees, you have coil packs that are shorting out voltage. My advice start again from the beginning. Go back to what you should have done, but this time ensure that he who does it, knows what he is doing. Head cylinder resurface, valve grind,valve seal replacement, head gasket replacement, coil pack replacement. That should have solved the problem if there were no cracks on the cylinder or block. |

The timing chain was the culprit for the p0016code, it was exposed today. It jumped by one tooth. Find attached pic

Car is OK now and running fine, 14mpg for town, 21mpg for highway. Check light gone since April. Thanks to all who said I will buy new engine and those who sympathies with me. God bless u all. |
