It means you are a glutton.
Don't read your Qur'an and try to be just before some extremist will fabricate one hadith to mislead you.

I've ate in my dreams especially when I was young, I use to think I will die when I believe in all these beliefs but it is all a dream that has to do with your psychological thinking. Since we eat in real life what's so creepy eating in dreams? It might be you're hungry or has to do with your nutrients. What we do, see, think, imagine in real life is what that reflects in our dreams.

An African person that watch nollywood movies and believes in what they show will dream he/she ate "ebo" (ritual food).

An American person will dream he/she ate pizza, cheese, burger.

I am not exactly sure how much attention you should pay to dreams, but our dreams are affected by a variety of things. Basically, what I am trying to say is don't worry too much about dreams as it as long as it isn't negatively impacting you in any way.
