Gospel Music must pay – Artists are getting very little yet providing so much not just to the church body but to non-Christians as well. We are focused on empowering them by:
Helping plan releases in a way the minimizes piracy Giving competitive percentages to Artists that distribute through 5iveMusic (at least 50% compared to 25% - 30% that most Artists get) Promoting Gospel music content on social media and digital marketing providing live stages outside the church where they can perform to fans and spread the gospel.

We intend to expand this to the pulpit as well – Christian movies, sermons etc.

The purpose of the gospel is to harvest souls. We cannot do that if we do not encourage and inspire those with the talent to focus on their craft while we help them generate revenue.

Gospel Artists need to inspire their audience & engage them – Enjoying and supporting content involves more than just releasing music; Gospel artists need to create value in the content. This involves everything from the way the music is released to the conversations they have about the state of the industry. Their platform can inspire and engage their audience and “superfans” to change the way the consume music. They must teach others how to treat them, which starts by first understanding the value that is in the content created.

Thought Leadership – Most distribution companies are focused only on commercial music, but gospel music has often been relegated to the sidelines. Experience every year tells us the value that can be captured, but we are yet to do so. We want to give it the attention that is required so that we can put a structure in place to generate revenue for the creators of the content.

Create a Unique Audience Experience – Though Gospel music is created to edify and to minister, it can still be done in a way that is fun and engaging. 5iveMusic wants to host live festivals yearly (Bethel Rock) in a neutral environment where youth gather to fellowship and network.
We will have vendors – food, drinks, clothes, jewellery, and good music. This environment also welcomes people that are not Christians which provides a new form of evangelism.

We seek to engage other “commercial entertainers that are Christian and share high moral values like Chidinma, and Waje.
