I have been making some research lately about universities that accept an art student with D7 in math and the students of those uni have been telling me that their school don't accept and the likes even contrary to what jamb brochure stipulated.
I plan to register for law tho' or even if I will need to change the course. I just want to know how things are.

I got D7 in maths and as it stands now I'm in my 300L in Niger Delta University, bayelsa state reading History And Diplomacy. It does not matter what you did in school, get the certificate first and every other thing lies in God

the thing you nigerian students must consider is,when you achieve to get your degress in nigeria,it will be worthless abroad...

our goverment is sooooooooooooooo stvpid that they dont have any agreements with western nations concerning your degress in nigeria...
they were stvpid enough to accept expatriats in nigeria,but forgot to advertize you to the western nations..

bro u r nt Dino melaye,most school require minmum of 5 credits with maths n eng inclusive...

you can go for distance learning mode. I had same issue with my o level result, and I began to search for way out until I found out that the distance learning center of university of ibadan accepts d7 in maths. I am now in my 200level, studying psychology.

Hmmm law yes, mass comm, no.....mass comm is under social and management science in most schs....so it wud be hard to choose mass comm.

wow!!!! D7 in maths is OK for art student. In fact my sister is studying law in the university and she has D7 in maths. U shouldn't be scared anymore. Go ahead and apply for jamb and choose either mass com or law. You are good to go with D7 in maths

I was an arts student, had d7 in maths, had 271 in jamb n 309 in oau postutme in 2008. of course I was admitted,now a graduate n worrking in a bank. u can go for law just av great scores in utme n postutme.

U should pls specify d sch for him.....for example in oou ago iwoye....cince mass comm is under sms....social nd management science, u don't need literature....cince it's basically an art subject.......so d basic subjects here are maths eng, econs, govt,anu other subject just to make up d required credit.

Mass communication = English Literature government and CRS/economics

U can even use different years sef
