The recent decision by West African Examination Council's to release results within sixty (60) days have continue to get reactions from stakeholders in the education sector. This time, the students in Lagos state under the aegis of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Lagos axis have joined voices to appreciate the examination body to welcome the idea of reducing the release date of results.‎

The Chairman of the Joint Campus committee of NANS in Lagos state, Comrade Samson Moses, while granting interview with newsmen on the sideline of the Lagos state University convocation, describes the new decision as indeed an incredible one that will help the students manage their time in pursue of their career and also reduce the burden on tertiary institutions on processing the admission of prospective students in the country.

Recall, The West African Examinations Council says it plans to reduce the waiting days for the release of its West African Senior School Certificates Examination results to 60 days.
