Yeah, I guess u now know I am so pained, anyway ..They re just useless.. The roads constructed by the late Ogbemudia in the 70s are still standing in my state,very long lasting and durable roads bt can same be said of the roads these mofos construct nowadays? They are just too conscienceless and stone hearted, they only use the masses to get to power after which they discard them like used tissue,and the most painful thing is that some people on this forum still support these useless thieves when the opportunity comes in order to get crumbs that fall off their tables.

The irony of this whole thing is that they like the system the way it is because an hungry man has no pride and will do anything to fill his stomach, they use the common man to commit all kinds of atrocious acts like ballot snatching...

Delta state major problem is in Oghara controlling the affairs of the state has he see fit. Until Deltans are able to stand up to Ibori to mind his business, Delta will continue on the same path of backwardness.

He was even controlling the state from prison before he was released. I saw how young seemingly educated people were happily supporting corrupt politicians during the last election and I was so pained.
To be very frank I don't see anyone changing the status quo in the nearest future. Who is the candidate that will contest against the incumbent? Ogboru has tried several times but failed so I don't think he's coming back.
I was in Warri last week and I heard several people complaining about Okowa's treatment of civil servants and they will ensure he's voted out next election but these same people will receive 5K later and still vote for Okowa like they have done in the past.

It would be very great if people like those you mentioned contest. Delta state needs one good leader to raise the standard of governance because I sometimes think the electorates don't know how low the standard of governance is in the state.

Lagos O! have been to delta since 2years. Its just sad when you see other state moving forward with little allocations and you now wonder y delta state with all the oil money is backward because of a few selfish individuals,individuals who are protected by the peoples who suppose to turn them over to efcc.

I'm either in PH or Benin depending on my engagement but Delta is my state and I have many family members there so I feel bad when I visit or pass through.
