As Lagos residents await the official declaration on the highly anticipated forthcoming council polls by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), top politicians involved in the process are putting final touches to their plans towards having a successful outing in the elections.
This developments have however, led to a tide of movement by aspirants who are vying for elective positions in their respective local governments.
While some of the aspirants are meeting key office holders to ensure they gain trust of their party, others are aligning forces with camps in the same political party to ensure they have a larger share of votes.
