It seems the only way to avoid Umidigi magic is, never update via OTA. Simply download ROM and apply (wait, read comments on umidigi forum, before applying any updates).......

Just got a call from the other technician. Umidigi Z1 Pro is fixed.....

You see, this pipu sabi work pass themselves........

One had it for 3 weeks, could not fix it. The other had it for less than 24 hours and fixed it .....

Picked up the Umidigi Z1 Pro, IMEI numbers are now visible, but network seems to be dancing like NEPA on it. Would be taking it back tomorrow for them to test and fix properly ......

Hi, did you order for the c note2?.....was actually reading up on the RN4 on the xiaomi thread when I saw a mention of this there. I like different and this C note2 looks it albeit practically unknown, plus the thing is cute too( at least from the images). Hope you do a review when you get it

Does not only look good in pictures. I know 3 people that have bought the C Note 2. It looks better physically, than the rendered pictures.

Spent some time checking it out online, that blue one I must say looks bae. Umidigi are the generous sort too, their phones have quite the rom and ram sizes

They are making up for bad reputation of the past and compensating through generous RAM & ROM sizes ........ And the beauty of their devices, that blue is truly bae (you would not want to use a case that would hide its beauty)......

I have made the decision to root my Umidigi Z1 Pro, since I would never update it again via OTA ............ Might as well open it up to all exploration .....

Umidigi Z1 Pro finally picked up, fully working and purring like a tiger.......

Changed my mind about rooting...... It might just become unstable .....

I wonder if the screen on the S2 Pro, can rival the screen on the Z1 Pro ?

The screen is probably the only reason I would not even consider the S2 Pro........

I think the trade off in pricing ratio, is probably due to the cost of the screen used......

You mean you had a choice between redmi note 4 and C note 2 and you are leaning towards the cnote2?


Apart from price,the note 4 trumps the cnote 2 in every area you could think of. Lexusgs430 nor vex ooo.
