Good. But i think it would make more sense if he had rather planned to sponsor just 5 students to further their education because not every jambite gets admitted. I just wish our politicians can do more to improve on the lives of the "electorate".

HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT; WHY HON. ADAELU HAS TOLLED THIS LINE

In a third world countries such as ours, there has been less attention paid to human capital development. This in no small means accounts for the level of underwhelming level of development attained so far, bearing in mind that educational sophistication of a people determines their developmental strides.

Besides, the numerous progress made by the Yorubas in the education and many other fields of endeavor today, is an upshot of Chief Obafemi Awololo understanding of its importance and duly ventured into the education of the western Nigerians.

The Yorubas have effortlessly traversed in the academia more than any other tribe in this country and as such contributed immensely to Yoruba nation building in one hand, and the country at large.

In the same vein, Hon. Solomon Ezinwa Adaelu representing the people of Obingwa, Osisioma Ngwa and Ugwunagbo federal constituency of Abia State, having just deployed brand new earth moving machines procured by him for the Yearly All Round Grading of roads in his constituency, seemed to have used a fine tooth comb to ascertain some other challenges facing his constituency.

It is a known fact that the people of the area have a comparative advantage in education than business which is commonplace in the Igbo region, hence the lawmaker constituted a scholarship scheme committee made up of the best brains in educational field in order to serve the academic needs of the people.

The committee inaugurated on the 1st day of April, 2017, swung into action with an action plan to procure and process 300 pieces of 2017 JAMB forms for the indigent constituents. This is meant to be equitably distributed and benefited by 100 hopefuls from each of the three local government areas.

While the forms are now at the designated areas, the headquarters of the three LGAs and the constituency office lawmaker at N0 295 Aba Owerri road, many of the hopefuls are encouraged to get the forms free off charge as this periodical programme will rub off in the scheme footing the academic bills of 30 best beneficiaries, who secured admissions into various higher institutions from inception of their academics to their graduations.
"The lawmaker also, through the scheme, invited all students of the constituency on the Easter Monday for NEEDS assessment in relation to their academics and on how to benefit from the EDUCATION ENDOWMENT AND SCHOLARSHIP FUND which the Honorable Member has set up"

The scheme has also earmarked some resources to sponsor healthy competitions such as quiz amongst schools with introduction of mathematics and sciences, aimed at encouraging reading culture among the students.

Hopefully, you ll learn to appreciate good things.
It's obvious that we have a system that isn't working, but do not forsake the much efforts being made by few of the good hearted ones. Prove to them that their efforts are being acknowledged as well as spore them to do more. In as much as it's our civil right.
