Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo who is currently in South Africa for vacation took out some time out to visit the prison cell which held one of Africa's greatest revolutionaries, Nelson Mandela. The actor who is the first Ghanaian citizen to hit one million likes on Facebook was obviously filled with admiration for Nelson Mandela. Nelson served 27 years in prison, initially on Robben Island, and later in Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison. All this was because of his fight for the independence of his country. Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment but served only 27 years of the sentence as he was granted a presidential pardon in 1990 amid fears of a racial civil war and growing pressure.
