itel Mobile Nigeria, a phone company extended his support to youths by sponsoring the departmental games of urban and regional planning department of the university of Lagos last week.

At the very entertaining games competitions that had football, basketball and athletics as well as indoor games, the 500 level class won the football competition with the basketball top prize going to year 3.

Speaking at the event, the marketing communications manager of itel mobile Nigeria, Oke Umurhohwo said the students and youths are an integral part of itel mobile, so itel mobile would always support activities that promote youth creativities and talent.

According to him, itel mobile’s passion for youth events has seen it intervene in areas like beauty pageants and sports development, adding that in the last few years, the brand has sponsored and supported football games nationally”.
He said its sponsorship of the itel Mobile URPSA games was a move to develop and reveal special talents.

Oke also said the itel’s sponsorship of sports events was for the long term, stressing that itel mobiles’s values of fairness and professionalism will guarantee future involvement.

The president of the Urban and Regional planning student association, Akeem Abayomi was full of thanks to itel mobile for coming and colouring the event and making it remarkable.
