A market SWING is described as the trendy movement of the market from a significantly high price region (commonly referred to as a "Top", "Crest" or "Peak" to a significantly low price region (commonly referred to as a "Bottom", "Trough" or "Valley", or vice-versa.
Swingmetry custom trading indicator indicates possible reversal points on chart with entry arrows, which implies that the market would probably move in a reverse direction. Hence, Swingmetry would indicate a SELL entry arrow at the end of a bullish trend, for example, in order to alert the trader of a speculated beginning of reverse (bearish) market. Likewise a BUY entry arrow is indicated to mark the speculated end of downward trend and the beginning of an upward one.

Time frames
Swingmetry works on ALL time frames

Alerts
Swingmetry contains various kinds of audio-visual alerts, including the following:
• Entry Alert – which would notify you of viable trade entry points,
• Exit Alert – which would notify you of appropriate points to quit your trades,
• Resume Alert – which would notify you of the resumption of a market trend after a brief retracement,
• New Bar Alert – which (if activated) would notify you of the formation of a new bar,
• Timer (offline) Alert – which could be set (even when your client is NOT connected to the broker's platform) to produce alerts at a regular interval.

Swings Meter
Swingmetry contains a metric system which generates and displays useful swings data at the top-right corner of the trading chart. Average UP Swing and average DOWN swing are indicated in points as "Av. UpSwing" and "Av. DnSwing" respectively.
Speculated ends of the current swing are indicates in prices as UP1, UP2, UP3 & UP4 for upward swings, and DN1, DN2, DN3 & DN4 for downward swings. These speculations are significantly helpful in targeting trades.

Tops and Bottoms
Locations of market peaks and valleys are graciously indicated by small arrows pointing upward and downward, and are colored DodgerBlue and OrangeRed (by default) respectively. These helps you to sight market Tops and Bottoms easily.

Entry, Exit and Resume Arrows
Differently shaped (and sized) arrows are plotted on chart to indicate trade entry, exit and resume points. All arrows related to BUY action are (by default) colored LawnGreen while those related to SELL action, HotPink.

Stop-Loss (SL) Lines
To help protect your trades from excessive losses, Swingmetry generates and plots certain stop-loss prices on chart. These include:
• Conventional BUY SL and SELL SL[/b] – plotted as dashed lines accompanying entry arrows, and are colored (by default) as LawnGreen and HotPink respectively.
• [b]Terminal SL – indicated on description label obtained when you place your mouse-pointer on a BUY SL (or SELL SL) line. A Terminal SL is calculated in relation to the Open price of the current bar; hence you have to consistently monitor the value as it changes with the formation of new bars.
• Trailing BUY SL and Trailing SELL SL - plotted (by default) as solid lines, although in the same colors as BUY SL and SELL SL. According to its name, a trailing SL trails the associated market trend; hence its price changes as the market progresses: Trailing BUY SL moves towards the Top while Trailing SELL SL moves towards the Bottom of the swing.

Target Fibonacci
In order to help you determine appropriate target prices for your trades, Swingmetry generates and draws Fibonacci Retracement object on chart. You may display (or hide) the target Fibonacci when you click on the time axis corresponding to an entry arrow. Swingmetry (by default) takes the "Spread" for traded instrument into consideration in calculating prices for the Fibonacci levels for SELL trades.
