At the long last the list has been released today. Contrary to our expectations it was published on today [31st December 2009] Guardian Newspaper and is still not online as at th e time of my post. Guys hurry to the nearest vendor around to confirm your status.

I am now a confirmed Lion, Praised God - I got 2 Admission offers this week after 5 years of patient struggle and wait.

For those who do not know the list has finally be uploaded to the school's website.

For those who got Admission, thank God and for those who did not get, All hope is not lost.

I was finally able to download the list online. I was admitted! We just entered 2010 and God has already started pouring his blessings on me! This year is gonna be great!

The Next thing is Acceptance of Admission 25,000NGN not later than 22nd of January. ***I'll post details later

I advice you go now and complain to the appropriate quarters so that it can be rectified on time!

Fellow Nairalander, what is your view as regards this 25k acceptance fee?
As far as I am concerned, this is pure extortion. What are they going to do with that money after collecting it? I'm yet to see any school (even the private universities) whose acceptance fee is up to that magnitude.
What also surprises me is the fact that the Old Students are just keeping numb about it, don't they have a union where they can fight for their fellow students whether new or old?
Something needs to be done and fast!

my brother,this is really extortion.N25K is far too exorbitant for acceptance fee of any University be it fedral or state So that entails that before they sum up other list of fees to be paid,it will be accruing to N65000 and above. Even state institution have not paid such.Anyway i thank God that i was offered admission both in Unn under sciences and Uniport under Engineering. So i have to choose the latter. I thank God for giving me both to choose 4rn.

Lets us speak our minds on this extortion. I know the world including the University Officials visit Nairaland so let us pass our message to them as regards our view on the 25K Extortion Fee that the VC christened Acceptance Fee.
