Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone in Naija ever succeeded in going online on their PS3 by sharing their wireless modem connection. I hear it works and I'm desperate to go online with my console. Pls Help.

Wat kinda wireless modem are you using? I connect to PSN using my laptop, nd starcomms 3G usb stick, by connecting d ps3 to d laptop nd it works wel, i even play games online.

I use a starcomms izap stick modem. My OS is vista home premium. Could that be the prob?

i also use starcomms izap the OS doesnt matter jsut connect ur ps3 to ur computer using an ethernet cable, then enable internet sharing by going to control panel, and go to your izap settings. you can find videos on youtube on how to do it.

I've tried that a few times already. Doesnt work. when i use the 'Easy' setting it times out when obtaining IP address. Also, when I use the manual setting it works but during Internet connection test it fails. A youtube link for a video could also help. All the videos I've tried don't seem to help. They're too direct I guess. Pls help. Tnx

Hey Fiz007, so I checked the video and I've seen it before. Anyway, I changed the cable from a crossover to a straight-through cable, reset my LAN card and Voila! Its connected, Thanks a lot. Really. I like to FIFA10. If u've got it we could battle sometime. If u do I'll send my ID. Peace.
