Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, started its regular degree programmes for cadets some years ago. Cadets who undergo this 5-year programme successfully will be awarded degree in their respective field of studies as well as commissioned as ASP (Assistant Supritendent of Police) upon completion. This year's forms are now available for all interested candidates both male and female within the age of 17 and 22years. Candidates must be a citizen of Nigeria, with good character and must meet the height requirement, chest expansion for men, O' level as well as UTME requirements. For O' level, there must be at least six credit passes including English Language and Maths got in not more than two sittings and must not have been obtained before the year 2013 ( i.e four years back).

It is an opportunity for those who wish to join the force especially now that UTME registration is on going. Interested candidates must choose the institution as their choice university. Entrance screening (written, physiological, psychological etc) follows after the candidates must have scored pass mark in UTME as approved by JAMB.

Entrance forms into 5th Regular course for 2017/2018 academic session are now available for sale until June 16, 2017. If you are intersted and qualified, then go to school's official website:- www.polac.edu.ng in order to
obtain or generate Remita
Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.
The RRR code obtained can be
used to make payment of
N3,000.00 through any
commercial Bank Branch in
Nigeria. Success!!!!

No, I'm a civilian staff. I'm just dishing out d information for lucky ones (applicants). Believe me, merit is VERY VERY possible here. It all depends on personal determinatio and d level of awareness in State of origin. I mean how competetitive the slots for ur state will be.

What about u: are u, or rather, do u have an applicant?

I am an applicant... A very very scared applicant... Yes I heard from an unreliable source that they are selecting 11 from each state... I am from Delta state and I don't know how many of thos inna boys and girls would be competing with me...
And I am kinda disadvantaged cause my O'level reads 2012/2013 but I am 18 years old

First, you don't need 2 be scared. Stop hearing from unreliable source next time. U can be misled so easily. Relatively, there was a kinda fairness in the selection of last set of cadets admitted but they were not up to 8candidates per state. Inna boys or girls didn't have much hand in the last admission: but don't take away d fact dat we are still in Naija. Don't ever be discouraged.

The rule is that ur O'level should not be more than 4years old. So was ur O'level exam taken in 2012 or 2013 or both?

From all indication, that 2013 gives it ( ur O'level) automatic qualification. That alone will not disqualify u if other conditions were met. I wish u d best of luck.

Thank u for ur encouraging words.
Another thing that's scaring me is that exam card has not been available for printing and d exam is next week.
I don't know any other applicants, I don't know if I am d only one experiencing that, cause I am having a feeling that I might have been disqualified halfway. And yes I met other requirement even though my jamb score is kinda low[195]
I am wishing myself all the very Best of LUCK!
And yes I mean MYSELF
Selfish me!

Too many candidates. They might want to disqualify me at the last stage. Seriously would u want to pick a 2 sitting WAEC result over someone that has it in 1. If only they let me pass the interview stages. I heard from someone that was there last year that they would start their check up from O'level result. I am so scared. He said some people are sent home that very day. That would be shameful wouldn't it?
