Court Remands Babangida Aliyu In Prison Custody by Askubur(m): 6:24pm On Apr 25, 2017
The immediate past governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, is to be remanded in prison custody until May 4, a court has ruled.
Justice Mohammed Mayaki of the Niger State High Court also ordered that the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 election, Umar Nasko, be also remanded in prison.
The two politicians were on Tuesday docked by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a six-count charge bordering on fraud.

What's going on? There's just so much happening in the polity, we hardly grasp one before the other. Just praying for EFCC to get conviction of big whigs. Not just name and shame, but name, shame and jail as #JH puts it.

These men no doubt embezzled. Why can't the EFCC just nail one. They steal money, send their children abroad to get the best education, they come back and and get best positions in government. The vicious circle continues. Its sad.

Same here, it will be a day of celebration, the sun, moon, stars will stand at attention, there will be snow all over Nigeria but not only Jonathan, all those who have contributed directly & indirectly to the suffering across Nigeria in both APC & PDP should be arrested, stripped naked in the national stadium, flogged with chilly pepper and sent to minimum of 80 years in jail with hard labor wink

I remember when this man was gallivanting all around then like his family (PDP) owned Nigeria. One will never believe that he would one day pass through this kind of experience.

Lesson to all (including myself): Use your time right. Impact lives.. Above all, have the fear of God. No matter the amount of wealth you amass on earth, you won't go to heaven with any.

I wish another political party can take over by 2019 so that APC politrickians can get this same treatment. It will favour the masses.

The 'Chief Servant' is going to Serve prison term.
It U told him something like this was possible 2 years back while the 'harvesting of loot' was ongoing he won't have believed.
