FG To Support Family Of Quintuplets With Housing Under Fish Programme by ariesbull: 5:09pm On Apr 26, 2017
As part of efforts to ensure the welfare of Nigerians and Civil Servants in particular, the Federal government at the weekend, promised to support the family of quintuplets with housing under the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) Programme.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita who disclosed this, when she paid an unscheduled visit to the National Hospital in Abuja, venue of the delivery of the babies where she also presented to the family some gift items including baby wears and diapers on behalf of the Federal Civil Service. She said,

”On behalf of the Federal Civil Service I want to tell you mother of the babies, Mrs.Oluwakemi Uduehi ,a Female Civil Servant with the National Population Commission, that the Federal Integrated Staff Housing [FISH] programme will make available to you and your family a house that can accommodate you, your husband and the children, we also understood you have other needs, so on behalf of the Civil Service of Nigeria, we are giving you these items of food, clothing and diapers to help ease your problems’’. ‘

’Mr and Mrs Uduehi, I am very happy for you and we are here this afternoon representing the entire Federal Civil Servants of this nation, I also want to tell you that today is a day of joy for all of us to meet a couple that has been so blessed by God, you have been married for only two years and God has blessed you with five Angels, very beautiful children, we are rejoicing with you today” she noted.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the FISH Committee and Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Yemi Adelakun assured the family that the apartment will be given to them as soon as possible. Stressing that, ‘’FISH programme is all about the welfare of staff’’. The Chief Medical Director of the hospital Dr. Gef Momoh who received the delegation confirmed that the children are doing well and therefore gave the assurance that there are no problems at all. Speaking on behalf of the family, the mother of the babies who incidentally is a staff of the National Population commission, Oluwakemi Uduehi expressed joy not only for the donations but to God that has made it possible.

Mr. Imudia Uduehi the father of the babies who hails from Edo State is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of ILorin, Kwara State and was an applicant before the birth of the five baby girls.
