I believe the rat analysis because the ones in my place avoid rat gum whenever one of them gets caught.

Ditto for mine rat neighbours. They display this uncanny attitude of avoiding baits containing a specific type of poison after a number of them have fallen victim. They simply ignore it. I marvel at them
