Are there a lot of people in Nigeria who can speak the creole? (Is it just called 'creole'?) Is it spoken throughout the country or only in a particular state? I am very interested in the creole. |

Our 'Creole' (well, kind of) in Nigeria is called Pidgin English, and it is spoken by MILLIONS of Nigerians. Some even speak it as a first language in some regions of the country. 2 Likes |

We don't speak Jamaican type of creole. Most Nigerians speak pidgin English (which is peculiar). Just like the above poster said, many speak it as their first language. I wish to know why you have such interest in Creole. |
