While some of his colleagues were unlucky for extorting motorists and obstructing traffic in Ojodu – Berger Park, one Olayemi Ogunseye on Wednesday played a fast one by disowning his uniform in order to escape arrest by officials of Rapid Response Squad.

According to the media personnel at the Nigeria Police Force, Malik Nasir, Ogunseye abandoned his NURTW uniform when he saw RRS operatives, who invaded Ojodu – Berger Park in an enforcement of traffic laws and were arresting his colleagues.

He thereafter narrowly escaped being killed as he tried to hurriedly join a moving bus in order to escape the scene.

About eight miscreants were arrested by the operatives at the park in a move to clear traffic congestion in and outward Lagos.

But seriously, the type of increasing number of miscreants who have invaded Lagos from south western states is too much. Ondo, Oyo Ogun and Osun states must find a way to create jobs in their states and employ these miscreants. They should not allow them to disturb people doing good business in Lagos.

These guys are uneducated, lazy, dangerous and a menace to the free society.
