Can you imagine this? Soldiers need to go to school and get proper education before wearing the uniform. In USA by now he will have been tracked down and brought to face the law but in Nigeria this case will just be swept under the carpet

Another tanker drivers strike is imminent. Soldiers belong to the barracks not in the streets and check points, driving through Nigerian roads makes you feel that Nigeria is under siege.
We need to get our acts together in this country, let peace reign and then we can get the military back to the barracks.

The rate at which members of the armed forces misuse the power granted to them in this country is allarming, aren't they supposed to be protecting the life of Nigerians rather than cutting it short?

Some of the people in the armed forces joined not because they love to protect Nigerians - not because they are ready to stake their lives for their country men but because they needed a way to own arms and ammunition legally and be respected and feared for it.
