If you understood the essence of sex after marriage, you would never have made that statement. You obviously think it's about "not being the loser between you and a potentially cheating spouse". But sorry to shock you; it is about you! You are obeying God by abstaining from sexual immorality! It's not about trying to please anybody.

The reason sex outside marriage is discouraged is simply because it is a SIN! God commanded us to flee from it! Even if you abstain and later discovered your spouse was cheating all along, you simply move on with your life while God Himself judges her for her actions. Why should you decide to make yourself a candidate of God's judgement just because you want to compete in sin with your spouse and not feel left out in committing a sin you suspect another person is committing against you? Is there any sense in that?? It is when you don't realise you're only saving yourself from sin and destruction of your soul that you think the way you do now. Have you ever asked yourself what would happen to your soul if you suddenly suffer a heart attack while banging a girl, and you drop dead in the middle of the action? Do you think you will make it to heaven? Or do you think God will pardon you if you give him the excuse that you were involved in sexual immorality because you didn't want to later discover your spouse had been doing it while you were avoiding it? The word of God says "O man! you are inexcusable". Remember that what matters most in this life is not how much money you made or how many women you slept with, but rather, the salvation of your soul. One day we will all die, and most people will realise that they only wasted all their years on earth pursuing what does not matter in eternity! You think women and money are very important now? Pray God opens your eyes and gives you a rare privilege to see people suffering in hell now and ask them if they consider those things important, and everyone of them will tell you the most important thing they wish for is to have the privilege to be alive on earth again and serve God with all their heart.

Summary: If you stay away from sin, you are not doing it to please anybody, you are only saving your soul!
