where's the proof that he took rat poison

you dey mind those compressed heads?

Awo is greater than all osus & freeborn dead or alive.. He is the reason they are all running to SW now for greener pastures.

I wonder how life will be for them with their Hausa masters if Yorubas decide to leave today

BTW rumor has it that Ojukwu died of AIDS and was buried secretly. I wonder where he got it from tho.

wasted with #5 poison...that's just sad

The ones that were not wasted from your side, what legacy did they leave?

I am sure someone from your hamlet benefitted in the free education in the southwest.

Instead of your Ojukwu to give free education he led your men, women and child to the slaughter.

Today you all troop to the southwest for better life.

Come on ipobians...learn to respect the dead. Awo was a great man. End of discussion. If Ojukwu could admit as much, why are some certain imbeciles bitter??

Whatever gives the slaves of the "zoo" respite from their everlasting sorrows. grin grin grin

Yoruba and Igbo are nearly equally marginalized by those who recreated the political structure of Nigeria, and made themselves king of the Nigeria zoo.

But lack of adequate education made you unable to understand that.

cowardice cool

Tel that to Ojukwu who fled after leading his people to slaughter. Suicide would have been a pinch of honour he would have shown to his people.

Seriously! You Easterners really need to respect baba Awolowo as a national Hero that he truly is. Am a westerner and my fiance is an easterner. And to be sincere with you, nobody can insult Nnamdi Azikwe without me correcting such a person. Awolowo, Zik, Balewa and other politicians back then really tried their best for this nation. So i think no matter their tribe, they deserve a very big respect from every single Nigerian regardless of the tribe. Thank you

Feel free to correct me if am wrong please.

The last sentence is what the flatrons hated him for.....

veraponpo:

The man that did, in 8 years, what the colonialists could not do in more than 40 years.

He brought civilization to Nigeria through television station, first in Africa.

Free and compulsory elementary education to the old Western and Mid-west Regions

He opened housing and industrial Estates from Ikeja to Ibadan

He ended the civil war through wisdom.

AFTERALL HE HELPED UNGRATEFUL SPERM LIKE YOU! YOU WOULDNT HAVE EXISTED.

I'm not really surprised.

You've been to only 2 states in your life Enugu and Rivers state.

Travel out to see how Igbos, Yoruba, Hausa etc. live in harmony.

All you've been sold is hate.

You know nothing about Awo or what he stood for.

The slaves who have a seaport that feeds the entire nation and an on going one currently in construction? Or the new modern refinery? Or the Atlantic city? Or the state that dwarfs all other state in IGR? The region that even the Emir Kano said without it, the north will suffer a worse fate in the event of a dissolution?

Do they sound like slaves? Understand that n not everyone is a chest beating gorilla in an empty jungle.
