Muslims Should Intensify Worship On The 15th Of Sha'ban by Elbinawi: 8:08am On May 11, 2017
The Holy Prophet (sa.) had said that during the night of 15th Shaba'an the Almighty takes decisions in the matters of sustenance, life and death and welfare of the people. Next to the “Night of Qadr” the night of 15th Sha’baan is the most auspicious night (also known as “night of Baraat”). According to the Imams Muhammad bin Ali Al Baqir (as.) and Jaa’far bin Muhammad As Sadiq (as.) Allah swt has promised to fulfill every legitimate desire put forward to Him tonight. During this night Allah (swt) bestows on HIS people from HIS bounty & forgives them out of HIS grace & generosity .Of the blessings of this night is that ,at the dawn of this night ,was born the Leader of the Time Imam Mehdi (atfs) in Samarra -Iraq in the yr 255 AH . Ahadith in the book Iqbalul A‘mal "Therefore, stay awake this night in prayer and worship and encourage your Ummah to also keep awake this night in order to get closer to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) through their actions since this is a noble night. This is a night in which not a single person supplicates to Allah except that his prayers are accepted. Nobody asks for a single thing on this night except that it will be given to him. No one asks Allah for forgiveness except that his sins are wiped out. No one turns in repentance to Allah except that He accepts their repentance. Whoever is deprived of the goodness of this night has definitely been deprived of something great." Almighty Allah has chosen this night for the Ahl al-Bayt, in the same way as He has chosen the Qadr Night for our Prophet—peace be upon him and his Family. The first thing that that Salik (the Wayfarer on the path towards Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He) must perform on this night is that he must remove the material pleasures and enjoyments of this world from in front of his eyes (and from his heart) and in order to make the most of this special night and ensure that all of his actions are performed properly, he must think to himself that tonight is his last night on this Earth (meaning that tomorrow he shall die) and thus, he will no longer have the opportunity to perform any more good deeds and that tomorrow the Day of Judgment will take place.

All the hadiths on nisfu shaaban worship are weak and can not be used to make judgement. The Prophet salallahu alayhi wasalam and his companions never revered this night. They never do any Ibaadah on the night apart from what they had been doing before.

There is no saheeh marfoo’ report that speaks of the virtue of the middle of Sha’baan that may be followed, not even in the chapters on al-Fadaa’il (chapters on virtues in books of hadeeth etc.). Some maqtoo’ reports (reports whose isnaads do not go back further than the Taabi’een) have been narrated from some of the Taabi’een, and there are some ahaadeeth, the best of which are mawdoo’ (fabricated) or da’eef jiddan (very weak). These reports became very well known in some countries which were overwhelmed by ignorance; these reports suggest that people’s lifespans are written on that day or that it is decided on that day who is to die in the coming year. On this basis, it is not prescribed to spend this night in prayer or to fast on this day, or to single it out for certain acts of worship. One should not be deceived by the large numbers of ignorant people who do these things. And Allaah knows best.

Please always be very attentive before you reply.

All the evidences given to prove the superabundant blessings of the 15th night of the month of Sha'ban are in line with Shia ahadith. It is very wrong of a Sunni using his own known false ahadith and non belief of this night and day as a reply to Shia.

Your reply can only be of any probative value if it counter those shia ahadith in line with shia science of ahadith.

You know brainwashed head like you forgot to acknowledge the fact that most of the narrators in your sahihain were Rawafidha, not to mention other books of your ahadith.

Hey yah! Sorry I forgot you are a rooky. What you don't know is far more than what you have been brainwashed with.

# I bet you and your troglodyte mates will surely be disappointed to find this Mutawattir hadith (widely reported) in your books of ahadith:

Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal in his Fadail as-sahabah documents:

Muhammad b. Yunus – ‘Ubayd Allah b. ‘Aishah – Isma’il b. ‘Amr – ‘Umar b. Musa – ‘ Zayd b. ‘Ali b. Husayn – his father – his grandfather – ‘Ali b. Abi Talib:

I complained to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, about the animosity of the people towards me. He said, “Are you not pleased that you are one of the first four people to enter Paradise: I, you, al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and our wives will be at our right and left sides, and our descendants will be behind our wives, and our Shi’ah will be behind us (all)?”

# Imam Ibn Asakir documents:

Abū al-Ḥasan b. Qubays and Abū Manṣūr b. Zurayq – Abū Bakr alKhaṭīb – al-Ḥasan b. Abī Ṭālib – Aḥmad b. Ibrāhīm – Ṣāliḥ b. Aḥmad b. Yūnus al-Bazzāz – ‘Iṣām b. al-Ḥakam al-‘Ikbarī – Jamī’ b. ‘Umar al-Baṣrī – Sawār – Muḥammad b. Jaḥādah – al-Sha’bī – ‘Alī:

The Messenger of Allāh, peace be upon him, said to me: “  You and your Shī’ah will be in Paradise."

# Its high time you start worrying yourself about being a shia of Ali.

Flattering?! So you can be so scared like this, I thought you will dare those "allegations" ni.

Again, your prestigious Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim not to mention other books of ahadith are filled with RAFIDHA (CONC. SHIA) narrators who used to curse Munafiq like Mu'awiyah Ibn Abi Sufyan.

Whats the fuss about?. Whoever wants to have extra ibadah on the 15 of shaban has the right to do so. You can avoid stupid noise by keeping and doing everything in your privacy to avoid loud mouths from tagging you bidah. Both sides have valid reason. Our fathers have studied. They are now worshiping. When are you going to start worship instead of tagging everything bida?. You know Allah through practicing not just by reading this kitab and that kitab.

Matter of fact, this was subject of discussion in yesterday kutba. Imam has no problem with it. From A-Z was devoted to Shaban in preparation for Ramadan. So abeg, whoever wants to devote the day for worship should do so in privacy. This is simply a matter of the juristic difference surrounding mid-Sha‘ban. And insofar as there is a legitimate difference on the subject, there need be no fussing over the 15th of Sha‘ban; no dividing Muslims over it; no deploying it as a benchmark to distinguish ‘pure’ follower of the Sunnah from ‘tainted’ ones; and no whipping up a frenzy among the public by blowing things out of proportion. Wherever such schisms are occurring, they simply have to stop, and repentance be made.
