Ali Baba, one of Nigeria’s foremost comedians has called out the Nigerian Army to highlight a case of an officer maltreating a civilian.

The comedian posted a photo showing a military man stepping on a civilian in a puddle, whip in hand.

“Bloody civilian! How dare you challenge an officer. And after investigation, it would be an #unknownSoldier. Bloody civilian,” he wrote as caption for the post.

Though the time and location of the events were not stated, the photo appears to have been captured beside the rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Arena, Oshodi, Lagos.

I recall with nostalgia how I and my friend slapped a naval officer at the National Stadium, Lagos during the botched Immigration Recruitment. I saw when the navy guy was slapping and kicking a guy. Tell me wetin navy dey do for immigration recruitment. Gradually the fustrated applicants descended on him, wetin vex me na the rapid response of armed immigration squad that saved the idiot from being lynched but i felt really happy slapping a coward in uniform

If not for Chadian military, Gamboru Ngala was a no go area for the military until Chad intervened. What was impossible for the Nigerian military who often give the excuse of no arms, Chad did it with relative ease to the point that Chad dread the Chadian military. This is evidently true as u no longer hear of Boko Haram on Chadian territory. Chadian military are so strong that the French relied on them to do d dirty job fighting Al Qaeda and Tuareg rebels in Mali while Nigerian soldiers were busy only mounting road blocks
