In What Certain Way Can a Widow Be Identified? by FaithfulServant(m): 11:56am On May 23, 2017
An orphan is any child whose parents is no more, but I want to know if a widow is any woman whose husband or husband to be has died.

Does this include even very elderly woman who had lost the husband a long time ago, even having well to do children?

What about a young lady who lost her husband but still very young. Should she be called a widow?

Or what about a young lady who lost her man and even in some cases failed to get married before his demise, leaving behind children that needs help. Should such children be regarded as orphans and should such lady be regarded as a widow?

Answers will be greatly valued and answers with scriptural backup and references will make my heart dance. Thanks
