The 54-year-old, who was appointed United boss last May, led his side to Europa League success as the Red Devils beat Belguim side Ajax 2 – 0 in Stockham, Sweden.

Goals from Pual Pogba and Mihkityrhn put United in control to see off Ajax.

Manchester United is now the fourth team to win all Major trophies in Europe.

No other manager in the club’s history has been able to win a trophy in their first season at Old Trafford, but Mourinho has broken that curse and and has done it again in the UEFA Europa League.
