If you want to swap with a 5s-fe engine not a problem. Physically they are the same, only difference is the size of the bores.

But to do it right, you will have to search for a 5s-fe engine computer and install.

honestly the first engine has not given me joy from day one. Noisy valves.

I guess a 5s transplant is a bad idea

Do the engine swap with a 5s first.

After you are done and you have tested engine then you can swap out the ecu.
