Am from kano.... the truth is no one is benefiting from the present day nigeria... atleast not the masses... And I believe in regional government system cos nigeria is truly blessed beyond imagination.... no region will suffer if the resources in all regions are properly harnessed...... kano! Whoa! Well,dont get pissed when i say 'the north',we gotta tell ourselves the truth. The nation prospered under regionalism,it promotes hardword and competition amongst regions in the country. U know u dont have to run to abuja every other month ending to beg for and collect wha is rightfully and originally yours.
States/regions cannot,never develop by waiting for and collecting monthly
allocation/money frm the fg,they need to dig deep and invest,explore,manufacture,work on their own and make use of their own resources to live. That can only happen under a true federal style,administration of govt.

Why should I be offended...... the majority of the people the north are suffering only a handful few are enjoying the so called oil wealth...... the g7 countries with the exception of maybe Canada and russia are a net importer of oil ..... all I hope and suggest is for the government to pay atleast equal attention (as they did to the easy money making oil sector) to other regions in the areas where they have comparative advantage eg agriculture, mining, industry, commerce, ict and trade...if that is achieved seat back and watch nigeria become a true super power ........
