For more than three hours now (since 6:10 pm) the city of Calabar has been agog in a gunfight between Officers of the Nigerian Navy and Police. This tussle began after a Naval Officer was killed by a Police Officer. Four other Naval Officers had come into a nearby Police Barracks late afternoon, Tuesday, to retaliate this killing only to be ambushed and shot at.

Then an all-out Gun battle ensued. About five Olokpas are reported dead.


It's really terrible, I tell y'all
