Informative thread op. Before you give kudos to where it doesn't belong, blue light filter is actually a Nougat feature. It's not exclusive to Tecno, however i usually tell my pals to reduce their phone brightness especially the iPhone users.

Blue light defender and miravision are Mediatek technologies
My phone runs on Nougat, and it doesn't have a blue light filter feature. But I think nthe feature is a good one regardless of the phone it comes with, whether it's a Tecno or a Samsung

This thread is on point. It's not limited to smartphones alone, TVs and PCs damage the eye too. But we use the phone more, I'd rather leave my phone on the lowest level of brightness or maybe get a phone with the blue light defender feature.

Your OEM must have removed it then cos it's a native feature of Nougat. Btw, what phone is that ?

I don't think so. You use a phantom 5?
Re: How Smartphones Are Gradually Damaging Your Eyes - MUST READ by Nobody: 7:33pm On Jun 13, 2017
But OP, I think there is a screen intensity guard that can protect the eyes from the much intensity? Aside that, I use a Tecno L9+ which auto adjusts its intensity. I dont know if quite a number of other phones have that kind of feature
