As a long time note 4 user, I have tried several custom ROMs. From Norma to Nemesis to Aurora mention it. Even AOSP ROMS like Resurrection Remix and Lineage ( formerly CyanogenMod). All these ROMs have their good and down sides. Some have very few bugs, others drain battery and some become really laggy.
Many persons hesitate to use custom ROMs because they fear they might encounter some unpleasant bugs.
However I stumble on RaceRom in my quest to really upgrade my note 4 and since then I have never looked back. It is arguably the best ROM ever. And it has the best support.

This is a great rom for the last best note.

As in eh. The ROM is just the best. I haven't seen a perfect replacement for Galaxy note 4. It's the best note! Removable battery, it blaster and so many features excluded from the current note series

That is going to be a problem. When I tried rooting my phone through TWRP, it just didnt work. If I boot into recovery, I can't navigate to any folder other than the ones their on default.

Like if I download the custom rom now and boot into recovery, I won't be able to get to the folder where I saved the custom rom file. You dig?

Copy the rom into ur phone.. memo card preferable
Boot to Recorvery
Flash the Rom from there...

Yeah copy the zip file to your memory card using any file manager
Then boot to recovery
Wipe cache, dalvik and data (in fact just slide to wipe and it will factory reset)
Install(flash) zip
Reboot
Enjoy
