there is a gender testing kit,it kindda looks the PT kit. i saw it on the doctors tv.

You CANNOT "determine" the sex of a child - either by ultrasound, amniocentesis, gender selection or in vitro fertilization.

Ultrasound and Amniocentesis simply let you know what sex the child is; it is already "determined". Gender selection and In Vitro fertilization simply allow you to "choose" the embryo with the gender you prefer, and discard the embryos withthe gender you don't want.
Put simply, a child's sex is determined at the point of fertilisation. You can only increase the odds of the specific gender you want. Here's how.

A man produces sperm that either carry a Y Chromosome(boy), or X Chromosome(girl). Whichever sperm cell fertilizes the egg determines whether its a girl or a boy. Y Chromosome sperm cells swim quicker than X-chromosome sperm cells, but die off faster. X Chromosome sperm cell swim slower, but live for longer inside the woman.
If you want a boy, have sex on your ovulation date exactly, as the egg released is only viable for about 24hrs. The chances are the Y Chromosome sperm will get to the egg faster, and fertilize it.
If you want a girl, it's best to make love at least two days before you ovulate, as this will allow the faster swimming Y Chromosome sperms to swim off, use up their energy and die, leaving the slower swimming ''female' sperm to arrive and fertilize the egg.

This is by no means guaranteed, but its been scientifically proven to improve the odds.
