*SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL INBOUND AND OUTBOUND N-POWER VOLUNTEERS OF EDUCATION DISTRICT V.*

All redeployed N-Power volunteers from one local government to another within Education District V or from District V to other Districts are advised to report to the District Headquarters for an immediate posting to their new Places of Primary Assignment. Though, those that are concerned have been texted and some have been reporting since Tuesday 3/4/18 yet some have not report. Meanwhile, failure to comply will lead to sanction.

More so, all redeployed volunteers are advised to do the followings in order for them not to fall victim of the foreseen possible challenges of the ongoing N-Power redeployment exercise in across the 36 states of our country especially, Lagos State.

*CATEGORY A: Redeployment From Primary Schools to Secondary Schools.*

All Redeployed volunteers from Primary Schools to Education District V, Agboju are advised to go to the LED Secretariat of their former PPA for official sign out and withdrawal of their names from their N-Power records. The LED should in return forward the list of their inbounds and outbounds to the appropriate ministry and agencies for record update. This is very important for the redeployed volunteers and all concerned agencies in order to forestall duplication of names and misappropriation of records which may in turn result to victimization of innocent volunteers who may later be regarded as abscondees or otherwise.

*CATEGORY B: Redeployment from one District to another.*

All Redeployed volunteers from one District to another are equally advised to go to the District Headquarters of their former PPA for official sign out and withdrawal of their names from the District's list of N-Power Volunteers. The District should in return forward the list of their inbounds and outbounds to the appropriate ministry and agencies for record update. This is very important for the redeployed volunteers and all concerned agencies in order to forestall duplication of names and misappropriation of records which may in turn result to victimization of innocent volunteers who may later be regarded as abscondees at their respective former PPA's.

*CATEGORY C: Redeployment from one State to another (Inter-State redeployment)*

All Redeployed volunteers from one state to another should report to or find a possible means of reaching the focal person of their former state of deployment for official sign out and withdrawal of their names from the State's list of N-Power Volunteers. The State focal person should in return forward the list of their inbounds and outbounds to the appropriate State focal person and to the National Headquarters of N-Power at Abuja, for record update. This is very important in order to forestall possible future challenges and complaints from the volunteers.

Conclusively, I wish all inbounds and outbounds N-Power Volunteers an awesome stay in their respective new Places of Primary Assignment.

You faithfully,
*Wahab Taofiki Agbabiaka*
N-Power Volunteer Representative,
Education District V,
Lagos State.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
It's really shocking to hear how Senate are lamenting over the ineffectiveness of Social Intervention Program (SIP) Most especially the senator from Gombe saying I quote "I have never seen any person in my constituency that has benefited from this program" A whole senator from the federal republic of Nigeria saying this! Shame on him. If I were in the shoe of Mrs. Mariam, the SSA to the President on Social Intervention Program, I will first of all refer all of them to thr social media of social intervention program to see success stories recorded by all beneficiaries from various arms of the program which include Npower before saying any other thing because this isn't the first time they will summon them.
I am really scared of all the bunch of leaders we have most especially at the upper chamber. The fact that this Government was transparent in selecting beneficiaries across the federation is really frustrating them cos their people are on their neck. If that is the case, how about the money collected for constituency project, what have they use the money for? Only 10% of those senators have judiciously used the money to carry out various constituency project while others embezzled the fund and they have the gut to query the SIP when they are supposed to access their constituency performance. This callous, inhuman and frivolous senators are the real cause of the problems we 're facing in this country and if care is not taken, the SIP will seize to exist.
That is why at time, one must be political especially when it comes to issue of this nature, we must not allow this set of leaders who got to the position through rigging process continue to rubbish this program, enough is enough. If they really want to see the positive effect of this program, let them leave Abuja and take a tour to their various constituency and ask the beneficiaires themselves instead of coming to national television and consistently rubbishing this program as if the officials didn't know that they are doing. It also sad to note that not even up to 200billion has been released for this program so far and 500billion has been budgeted for it.
Project was initiated by volunteers across the federation this can be attested to through their various social media and to worsen the whole matter, they are now comparing sure p to SIP, really! I mean really!!! Democracy they say is the Government of the people, by the people and for the people. If these leaders are not ready to work for the people, then let them leave the position and allow new breed of leaders take over, enough is enough. Most they politicize everything? Why can't they be human for ones and let go this non challenge attitude of theirs. Well, as far as Npower program is concern, it has recorded a lot of success stories and the impact is being felt by the state's especially by the Head of our various PPA. So we call on all the senators of the federal republic of Nigeria to take a tour to their various constituency and find our for themselves the impact/success this program has recorded.

200,000 NPOWER BENEFICIARIES TO LOSE JOBS

As Senate Threatens To Cut Down NSIP Allocations
Beneficiaries of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP) may be at the verge of losing their jobs as the Senate Committee on Appropriation has threatened to cut down on the proposed N500 billion allocations in the 2018 budget.
At the resumed 2018 Budget Defence at the National Assembly on Thursday, Chairman of the Senate Committee, Danjuma Goje said his Committee may be constrained to reduce the allocation unless it is convinced about the disbursement of funds under the scheme in the last two years.
Maryam Uwais, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on NSIP informed the National Assembly that the programme received between 2016 and 2017 N175billion out of the N1 trillion approved in the budgets for the two years.
Goje, not convinced with the explanation further queried how the funds from Service Wide Vote have been disbursed.
Uwais, in her response, gave a blow by blow account of the disbursement of the funds, saying “a sum of N500 billion was appropriated for the NSIP budget in 2017, out of which N100 billion was allocated for the Social Housing Scheme under the Federal Ministry of Finance.
“Furthermore, out of the balance N400 billion, only N90 billion was released to the NSIP for the year 2017.”
She also said that the programme received the sum of N85 billion in 2016.
“Unfortunately, N100 billion is deducted at source for Housing Scheme by the Federal Ministry of Finance,” she said.
Goje, still not impressed with Mrs. Uwais submission, demanded proofs of beneficiaries for the various schemes under the project while alleging that the entire exercise might have been compromised.
The lawmakers bragged they should have been carried along in the entire process of how the project was being executed in their various constituencies especially as they were not in control of list of beneficiaries.
“Many people are complaining that they have not seen the impact of the programme considering the magnitude of the fund involved.
“No single person from Gombe State has benefited from your N-Power. We don’t know about your N-Power. As far as many of us are concerned, we are completely dissatisfied with what you are doing,” Senator Goje said.
The Committee in its resolution, requested the NSIO to provide it with full details of how monies were disbursed including the names of beneficiaries of its various schemes.
The lawmakers also vowed to reduce the 2018 NSIO Budget allocation unless it is provided with sufficient proofs on the performance for the last two years.
NSIP programme comprises Npower, National Home Grown School Feeding, Government Enterprise Empowerment Programme, and the National (conditional) Cash Transfer Programme.
The programme was set up by President Muhammadu Buhari, under the office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), with 6.8 million direct beneficiaries, and another 1.75 million secondary beneficiaries comprising cooks, farmers, Poor and Vulnerable Household members. 200,000 NPOWER BENEFICIARIES TO LOSE JOBS

NpowerNG March Salary: What’s causing the delay?
8 hours ago Add Comment 2 Min Read
(Last Updated On: April 6, 2018)

Beneficiaries of 2016 first batch of N-power job initiative programme confirmed to that workers at state governments envy them at their PPA because they were receiving their stipend before end of every month.
That has since changed, according to a N-power Teach volunteer in Oyo State, “they pay us at will now.”
We learnt that volunteers received December 2016 salary, even though they had not started working.
“It was like a miracle when I received my first pay, I thought I was actually dreaming when I got N30,000 bank alert from N-power,” a N-power health volunteer in Osogbo, Osun State capital told us.
Volunteers also got highly sophisticated tablet devices loaded with useful training materials to make them self-reliant.
Since January 2017, we learnt everything has changed. According to research conducted, beneficiaries received January salary middle of February, their February stipend was paid March 15, while some of them told us that they are yet to receive their March salary at the time of publishing (April 6,2017).
Delay and irregular salary payment is peculiar to state governments in Nigeria, where workers go on strike sometimes before they’re paid.
It’d be recalled that the Federal Government did mention that monies to pay the first batch for a period of 2-year were on ground, when the programme was launch in 2016.
Going by the number of 200,000 successful first batch applicant, FG pays N6,000,000,000 monthly.
Some have record issues, which fall under backlogs.
But beneficiaries have started experiencing fluctuating pay. While some others who have reconciled their data are yet to get a penny since the official start of the programme in December 2016.
What’s causing the delay?
We can’t specifically say, but the delay could mean three things:
1) The N-power team may be carried away by the activities of General Elections coming up in 2019.
2) The powerful men behind the money ,which is N6,000,000,000 monthly may have something to gain from it when it’s fixed.
3) Finally, it could mean that the delay in the passage of 2018 Budget may be responsible.
But if FG said it already had the money on ground, why the delay?

How MTN Nigeria Scammed N-power Volunteers and FG
7 hours ago  4 Min Read
(Last Updated On: April 6, 2018)

Major N-power partner MTN Nigeria is making at least N24,000,000 monthly illegally from N250 monthly airtime meant for the first batch of N-power beneficiaries, according to the latest survey by Infobase Nigeria.
Federal Government’s N-power, which is under Social Investment Programme (SIP) gave tablet devices to its 200,000 volunteers in 2017.
The tablet devices include: Samsung Tab, AfriOne 2-in-1, Techno Pad, N-power Brian Tablet, Zinox Zpad Tablet, Speed star Window Tablet, RLG tablet, and Floss Signature.
FG allotted millions of Naira monthly in data and airtime for volunteers’ use.
The tablet devices came with data of 750MB monthly, and N250 free airtime.
However, our survey shows that large number of the volunteers were unable to make call with the free airtime.
Check our data collation and analysis below.
Data collation:
Number of respondents= 120, 000, representing 60% of the total number of volunteers (200,000)
Number of volunteers who received and able to make call with the free airtime=20%, representing 24,000 of volunteers.
Number of volunteers who received the free airtime but couldn’t make call with it=80%, representing 96,000 of volunteers.
Analysis:
Going by this data, if volunteers were able to see airtime on their account balance but unable to use it, it simply means it’s as usefulness as not receiving it at all.
Where does the airtime go to when they couldn’t use it, which has already been paid for by the Federal Government?
Take a look:
96,000× N250= N24,000,000 monthly.
It means 24million Nigerian Naira budgeted for those under the purview of our survey go back to MTN’s purse.
A volunteer shared a screenshot of the free airtime with us.
This further means that in a year, MTN would have made N288,000,000 from the free airtime it ought to credit lines of beneficiaries with.
Meanwhile volunteers said complaints sent to MTN customer support were not attended to. They had to settle for only free 750MB and purchase airtime from their purse, if they had to make call with the N-power dedicated MTN line.
MTN and Fight against Fraud
The South African telecommunication giant claimed to have zero tolerance for fraud, “To this end, we consider it particularly important for you join us in the fight to eliminate fraud. Carrying out awareness and anti-fraud programs focused on fraud and its consequences.”
The telecom company has fraud unit to fight corruption, “The Subscriber fraud unit is responsible for preventing, detecting and managing incidents of fraud by MTN subscribers. The unit undertakes public enlightenment and fraud awareness for staff that interfaces with subscribers.”
But it’s officials at state offices were accused of fraudulent activities during the device distribution across the country.
At a time in Osun, Delta, Oyo, Akwa Ibom State, Rivers and other states Mtn officials demanded money from N-power beneficiaries before they could collect their device, which they were to collect absolutely free.
The menace stopped when it was reported to N-power headquarters in Abuja.
Who should be held responsible for this scam?
Definitely MTN Nigeria should be held responsible. However, FG ,the client of MTN needs to follow up whether the money paid for the purpose are used for what it is meant.
The current MTN scam of N-power volunteers and FG allude to the position of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Jibrin Okutepa, that “ Nigeria’s DNA is deepely rooted in corruption.”
“The rate at which government works at millipede pace is not good for fighting corruption. A task of fighting corruption is huge,” the respected lawyer said early this week on Sunrise Daily on Channels Television.
The current fraud , in our research, has been perfected in such a way that it will be difficult to investigate.
The tenure of the first batch of the programme is expected to come to a close by December, 2018.

What’s the future of N-power afte Buhar’s APC administration?
NpowerNG volunteers have asked this question severally on social media, and public forum.
Let’s take a look at the level of continuity in government’s policy, particularly when a rival party wins an election.
From Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (May 29, 1999-May 29, 2007) to Late Umar Ya’Adua (May 29, 2007-May 4, 2010) to Dr. Goodluck Jonathan (May 5,2010-May 29, 2015), there have been nothing consistent about Nigeria’s government’s policies.
It’s been new government, new policy.
Obasanjo’s NEEDS
During Chief Obasanjo’s regime, a road map for economic recovery for Nigeria was launched.
NEEDS was aimed at reducing poverty, improving standard of education in Nigeria. Prof. Charles Soludo was the Chairman of the drafting committee of NEEDS.
It was called NATIONAL ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENTAND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY (NEEDS).
NEEDS would have changed Nigeria’s fortune, if those at the helm of affair were “beautiful” as their policies were.
NEEDS gave birth to SEEDS in all the 36 states, and LEEDS in the local government council areas.
It’s a noble programme, but at the end of Obasanjo’s regime NEEDS also ended with the administration.
Yar’Adua’s 7-point Agenda
On coming on board, the government of Late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua set aside NEEDS, replacing it with a 7-point agenda.
Yar’Adua’s 7-point agenda include 1) Power and energy, 2) Transport sector, 3) Food security, 4) Wealth creation, 5) Land reforms, 6) Security, and 7) Education.
Jonathan’s SURE-P and Federal Task Force
Goodluck Jonathan was in office as Vice President to Yaradua, but on assumption of office after the demise of his boss, 7-point agenda died with the gentle and brilliant Yar’Adua.
Goodluck gave birth to SURE-P on assumption office, but that’s now a history as usual.
Federal Task Force, a proposed para-military was launched dubiously to get votes from the youths ahead of the 2015 elections.
Some of the Npower volunteers today were part of defunct Federal task force Jonathan started towards the end of his government. Several applicants were scammed in the process.
That’s to tell you how the problem of continuity is one of the reasons why Nigeria takes three steps forward, three steps backward.
Stagnation!
Will N-Power continue when Buhari leaves office?
Definitely NO!
The continuity of SIP, and N-power is 100% dependent on the willingness of Buhari to seek reelection, and ability to win the election in 2019.
If Buhari failed to recontest, that is automatically the end of N-power programme.
If Buhari contested and lost, it also means the end of the job initiative programme.
If APC presents another presidential candidate for 2019 General Elections and he/she won, it’s not a certainty that N-power job programme would continue.
The fact that Jonathan was vice president during Yar’Adua’s rule didn’t make Jonathan to continue with 7-point agenda when he assumed office after the death of his boss.
Kayode Fayemi position on the Future of N-power
Future of this noble programme has also be elaborated by the former governor of Ekiti State, Dr.Kayode Fayemi.
Fayemi is the incumbent Minister of Mines and Steel Development.
The minister said the scheme would continue as long as the APC remained in power.
“Because of what our President has done, I want every youth in Nigeria to support this APC government in 2019. In 2019 general election, we want all youths in Nigeria to support APC and all youths in Ekiti to support APC in the 2018 governorship election.
“The scheme would continue as long as the APC remains in power.
“Youths who are yet to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) should do so and vote APC in come 2019 elections so as to keep enjoying similar schemes.
“The vision and mission of Mr. President is to assure you of a better future, you must support the President to sustain the scheme. The President is in love with the young people and that is why he will continue to empower you. Make sure you collect your PVCs.
“If you want this programme to continue, vote wisely and vote intelligently to ensure that APC continues at the centre and ensure that APC returns to power (in Ekiti) this year so that programmes like this continue.”
Verdict:
Despite the fact that the programme, which was praised by the rival PDP, is now getting criticisms from the same party that once ruled Nigeria for 16 years, some volunteers have prudently managed their N30,000 monthly stipend to establish a small business for the sustainability of their family.
Begin to plan for the aftermath of N-power. Copied

The presidency has reacted to a backlash by members of the senate committee on appropriation on the federal government’s social investment programmes.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President, Laolu Akande, the presidency singled out a senator for blame berating his comment as ‘irresponsible statement.’
Members of the committee on Thursday picked holes in the implementation of the social investment programme saying the government has nothing to show for the N1.5 trillion it has attracted since inception.
While appearing before the committee to defend the 2018 budget, the lawmakers demanded the Special Adviser to the President on Social Investment, Maryam Uwais, provide names of the beneficiaries of the social intervention programme from their various states, which the agency promised to submit before the close of yesterday.
“You have N500 billion every year, which is unprecedented, totalling N1.5 trillion in three years. I am from Gombe State, and I’m yet to see one single boy or girl that has benefited from the programme. I have been active and politicking for 40 years. As far as a I am concerned, I don’t know of anybody who has benefited from your programme and this is N13 billion every month,” chairman of the committee, Danjuma Goje (APC-Gombe) said.
The presidency faulted the senators’ condemnation on Friday, saying Mr Goje made an “irresponsible statement.”
“First we would like to hope that the senator was misquoted. And we call on him to make the necessary clarifications.
“However were it to be true that he made such wild claims, it would not only be unfortunate but certainly an irresponsible statement,” the statement reads.
Mr Akande noted that the programme has only received N175 billion as against N1.5 trillion claimed by Mr Goje.
“To restate the facts, while indeed we have budgeted a total of N500B for the 2016 & 2017 Budgets each, including the N100B for the Family Housing Fund in the 2017 Budget, only a total of N175B has so far been released since the commencement of the historic Buhari Social Investment Programme.
“It is incredible that the distinguished senator will insinuate otherwise. If actually he was accurately reported, we would say he ought to have requested for the information instead of misleading an entire nation with such an incredible claim.
“While the Senator was claiming he knew no one from his state who has benefited from the SIP at a Senate Committee hearing, his colleague from Kogi State, distinguished Senator Atai Aidoko requested from the Special Adviser to the President on SIP, Mrs. Maryam Uwais, (who was before the Appropriations Committee) for a random name of a beneficiary from his state, called the number there and then and got positive confirmation from the beneficiary. That senator then formally announced the outcome of his random call to the entire senate hearing.
Inspite of the cash-trap, the presidency said the programme has benefitted many Nigerians. The statement listed some of the beneficiaries.
“For the avoidance of any doubt, there are today in this country 200,000 previously unemployed Nigerian graduates who are receiving their N30,000 monthly stipends as they serve their communities in different capacities including as teaching assistants, Agric extension aides or community health workers.
“There are today in our nation more than 7.4 million primary school pupils in 22 States who are being fed one hot meal a day under the Buhari SIP. Almost 300,000 Nigerians are also receiving N5000 monthly cash transfer among our most vulnerable & poorest citizens. Our target for the cash transfer is one million. And there are almost 300,000 Nigerians who have benefited from micro-credit loans of between N10, 000 to N100,000.
“These are the facts and the selection process for the beneficiaries are open, transparent and can be easily cross-checked by any diligent inquirer.

*AN OPEN LETTER TO THE LAWMAKERS/SENATORS OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA*

Dear senators, the 36 States N-power Beneficiaries coordinators wish to write to address some senators making claims that they are not aware of N-power and other social investment program's existence in their States, or felt the impact of the programmes is not just an insult but shows how the said lawmakers are very far from the people they represent.

_N-power Beneficiaries Nationwide alone have initiated projects and programmes in their various states, touching lives and impacting to this new generation. These beneficiaries works tirelessly in ensuring that they drop thumb print in their various Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) We have concrete evidence and hearing from our respected Senators that they have not felt the impact is unacceptable by the entire N-power beneficiaries Nationwide. We will be grateful if we are invited by the house for insight about the N-power programme._

*Comparing N-power to Sure-p is not only embarrassing but an insult to us because most Headmasters, principals, heads of primary health cares and State agricultural Extension Officers/Directors can't do without us because of the level of our commitment in discharging our duties. Today, most public schools, healthcares and agricultural parastatals can compete with their counterparts in the private sectors due to how serious and dedicated N-power Beneficiaries are in their Primary Places of Assignment (PPA)*

_On this note, the 36 States N-power Beneficiaries coordinators are calling on an emergency meeting with The special adviser to the president on social investment program Mrs. Maryam Uwais, Barr. Ahmad isma'eel and their team members to address issues affecting N-power beneficiaries._

N-Power Gombe State
RIGHT OF REPLY
The Gombe state social investment project office today had a parley with newsmen at its headquarters in Gombe. The briefing which was a follow up to the press release earlier made and was necessitated because of the call by a senator representing the Gombe state central zone that the
program to scrapped. Responding the Special adviser to the Governor on social investment project Hajia M.I Mele debunked his claims calling it
baseless and untrue.
Recalling that Gombe State currently has enjoying the services of 2800+ beneficiaries of Npower providing services in the health, agro allied and
Education sectors respectively. Not until recently 7000+ beneficiaries from the second batch were verified and awaiting placement and postings. She
said it may interest the honorable senators that 2809 food vendors are currently providing highly nutritious meals to about 286,000+ pupils in the
state. In his senatorial zone, 162 food vendors have being verified to provide 14,342 pupils with meals daily. In the senator's local government which happens to have the highest number of vendors and pupils in the State.
With a vendors roll out of 419 and 36,117 pupils it is only laughable that the program is not being felt at the grassroots. Infact his ward is the second to Kumo in terms of vendors and pupils enjoying the feeding program .
Yamaltu Deba local government happens to be amongst the 3 pilot lgas for the conditional cash transfer program, a local government within the
senators constituency.
More than 200 cooperative groups from the senators constituency have so far applied for the government empowerment and entrepreneurship
program (GEEP) and awaiting disbursements from bank of industry.
This laudable effort is not just an individual thing but a collective work and sheer commitment of the National Social investment project office of
the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo ably steered by the National Coordinator Hajia Maryam Uwais and team of experts. The State office
cant thank the the Governor enough, His Excellency the Executive Governor Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo Phd OON, Talban Gombe for his unwavering support to the overwhelming success of the program.
Lastly we pray the national assembly should key in to the success of the program and appropriate more funds in order to maintain the tempo of the program and support the President Muhammadu Buharis focus on poverty alleviation and socio economic development.

Presidency blasts Senator Goje for criticizing Buhari’s N-Power, N-Build, others
Published on April 7, 2018
By Chijioke Jannah
The Presidency, on Friday night, slammed Senator Danjuma Goje for saying he was yet to see any beneficiary of President Muhammadu
Buhari’s Social Investment Programmes (SIP).
DAILY POST reports that Senator Goje criticised the SIP after Maryam Uwais, an aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, informed the National
Assembly that the programme received between 2016 and 2017 N175billion out of the N1 trillion approved in the budgets for the two years.
However, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, in a statement on Friday night, also tackled Goje for saying during a Senate
Appropriation Committee hearing Thursday that N1.5 trillion had so far been released for the SIP.
The vice president’s spokesman described the senator’s statement as unfortunate and irresponsible.
He said: “First, we would like to hope that the senator was misquoted.
And we call on him to make the necessary clarifications. However, were it to be true that he made such wild claims, it would not only be
unfortunate but certainly an irresponsible statement.”
Akande explained that while N500bn was budgeted for the programme in 2016 and 2017 each, only a N175bn had so far been released.
“It is incredible that the distinguished senator will insinuate otherwise. If actually he was accurately reported, we would say he ought to have requested for the information instead of misleading an entire nation with such an incredible claim,” he stated.
He said the SIP was touching lives as the testimonies were aboundadding that by God’s grace, more lives would be touched this year.
He said Buhari’s administration would not relent in the vigorous pursuit of the SIP in line with the manifesto of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
According to Akande, the Presidency hopes and plans to ramp up all the schemes to widen the scope and bring in more beneficiaries.
“While the Senator was claiming he knew no one from his State who habenefited from the SIP at a Senate Committee hearing, his colleague from Kogi State, distinguished Senator Atai Aidoko requested from the Special Adviser to the President on SIP, Mrs. Maryam Uwais, (who was before the Appropriations Committee) for a random name of a beneficiary from his State, called the number there and then and got positive confirmation from the beneficiary. That Senator then formally announced

N-power Lagos Good news 2016 volunteers have started receiving March stipends. Expect yours soon
Re: N-Power Lagos Thread by AutosBay(m): 9:09pm On Apr 09, 2018
I think we need to make something clear here. This is Npower Lagos not Npower FG. Whatever information we post here is authentic. We earlier told you that unconfirmed congratulatory sms has been sent to some volunteers this morning.
We then went ahead to make findings and it confirmed that its true, but it hasn't spread to all states in fact as at now, we have only three states so far from our findings and these are Lagos, Bauchi and Yobs. Because your state hasn't started receiving doesn't mean it isn't authentic. Also note that Npower will not always wrote info on their social media. Please employ you to be calm, you will receive yours soon so long you are successfully verified.

Re: Deduction in Stipends.
A few beneficiaries will have noticed a deduction in their stipends.
You will recall that the Federal Government entered into a 20-month Assest Finance Agreement with the Bank of Industry for the N-Power devices.
Beneficiaries who selected the Tecno and Speedstar devices incurred additional monthly charges over and beyond the N4,500 monthly device credit voucher of the Federal Government.
Consequently, the additional costs will be deducted from their stipends between the months of March and July, 2018.

N-Power: Group wants FG to offer permanent appointment to
beneficiaries
Publish Date: Apr 11 2018

Malam Mahmood Jalo, Secretary Gombe State Chapter of the forum, made the appeal in Gombe on Wednesday in a news briefing organised by
N-Power beneficiaries in Gombe on the success of the programme.

He said in area of health, professionals were also deployed to health centres to complement those on grounds and in the agricultural sector, Agric Extension workers were deployed to communities to give farmers technical advice.
“I am appealing to the federal government to look into the possibility of engaging the N-Power beneficiaries by giving them permanent and
pensionable appointment.
“This will go a long way in contributing to the socio-economic development of the country,” he said.
Malam Muawuya Abdulhamid, Gombe State N-power Ambassador, in his speech said Gombe state currently had 2,900 persons benefiting from N-
