One of nairaland's kindergartens I suppose.

MKO help thousands. A philanthropist that cannot be rivaled.

And above all, he sacrificed his life to save Nigeria from military oppressors.

And his legacy still lives on in all those he help and in a democratic Nigeria.

So be educated.

Nobody can say for sure the kind of presidemt he would have made. Maybe a good one or something so bad that would make Buhari look like the best mankind have ever seen.

RIP to him.

[s]if MKO could "bleep" babangida's wife, Mariam as we were told by late Mayowa Orisatola then. I can never blame babangida for not allowing him to rule this country.

many of them like that... until they die before you know their true color.

what about Liberia money Samuel doe embezzled and kept into MKO's wife account, babangida is a witness, it was even babangida's that recommended MKO to Samuel Doe after it was later agreed to keep it inside Simbiat (MKO's wife) account .

only God Almighty will judge all of us.

don't quote me or ask me any question, direct all your questions to Al-Mustapha that was accused of giving Sergeant Rodger order to kill Kudirat Abiola. Al-Mustapha has several secret he's keeping.

Babaginda did, but Abacha also continued with it (and made the situation worse) - so I guess they both should rot wherever they are.

Abacha received his formal military training at Nigerian and British military training colleges. He rose through the ranks in the Nigerian military and by 1983 had achieved the rank of brigadier when he assisted Ibrahim Babangida in overthrowing Shehu Shagari, who had been elected to his second presidential term in 1983. Muhammad Buhari became Nigeria’s leader, but just two years later Babangida overthrew Buhari and installed himself as leader with Abacha second in command. Elections were held in 1993 and were won by Moshood Abiola, a candidate supposedly supported by Babangida, who, however, annulled the elections and set up a civilian interim government, which Abacha quickly overthrew.

Although Abacha promised a return to democracy, his actions were anything but democratic. He banned political activity of any kind, fired a large portion of the military, controlled the press, and assembled a personal security force of some 3,000 men. While he supported the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and its military arm, ECOWAS Monitoring Group (ECOMOG), in sending troops to restore democracy in Liberia and Sierra Leone, he brutally suppressed dissent at home. Abiola and Olusegun Obasanjo, a former military leader of Nigeria (1976–79), were jailed for treason. Wole Soyinka, Nigeria’s Nobel laureate, was also charged with treason, although he had voluntarily left the country. Perhaps Abacha’s most brutal act was the imprisonment, trial, and subsequent execution for treason of writer Ken Saro-Wiwa and other Ogoni activists who were concerned with the environmental exploitation of their region by multinational petroleum companies.

History is history. Yeah urs important for it to be taught in schools, people are supposed to learn from it but think future. There's no need blaming dead or old people when the youth is worse in every aspect

To me they are worse. All waiting for a miracle to happen, too lazy/scared or whatever to do sth, don't even know anything about politics. How?
Most of them were born into corruption thinking it's the norm for politicians to steal away their money, while they sit there, cause a division among themselves ( instead of working together), argue about who is the better president (with their tribes being the criteria).

As if they lived what will be considered a normal life under either of those people and when few with brains come out to protest, all they have to say is "And how does this change anything", as if sitting around helps.

OH and of course boobs and ass are more important than being productive.

You don't see that as visionless. You are right it's even worse
