If you study the cameroonians and igbo, they have similar culture and they look the same. historians have always asked, how come hausa and yoruba have a long traceable history in nigeria but igbo has absolutely no history whatsoever in nigeria. this question has left many historians puzzled. well thats because your history is in cameoroon and not nigeria. when you decided to adopt the name igbo i believe is like 300 years ago during the slave trade / colonization era. it is a bastardization of HEBREW. white man said the bantus are the biblical hebrews so he couldnt pronounce hebrew and it went from eebrew to eebo to igbo.

The igbo territories were the last to be subdued of all Britain colonial territory of Nigeria. Part of why they dislike the igbos because the igbos were stubborn and hard to crack..It took Britain 40yrs to subdue the igboland totally

Hmmmm .......

From this write up, even the Yoruba's and Hausa people might be Bantus at one point, even the Nok people .

Before the first coup, Nigeria functioned under regional administration when all the 3 major regions administered themselves and their own affairs, but after the coup, Nigeria made another ibo man the head of state, but instead of keeping all the 3 regions separated by continuing with the regional set up, he instituted decree 34 aka unification decree which abolished regionalism and formerly joined Nigeria together to form one Nigeria and what we have today with absolute power in the center instead of the regions.


3. We have what is called one Nigeria today because of ibo people because on two critical and separate occasions, ibo men from Zik and Aguiyi-Ironsi, the head of state created on Nigeria.

You reap what you sow.

Not really, this map has the outline of Nigeria and has labelled the Niger Coast Protectorate which means it's probably not even from the 1800s, the mappers probably couldn't fit Igbo or Ibo on the map, simple explanation.
