This attack on the Fulani happened yesterday, Sunday 18th June, 2017, but I could not find the News in Punch or Vanguard Newspapers. I am not sure any Southern Newspaper carried the news. But If the Fulani's should retaliate, you may start seeing sensational headlines depicting Herdmen as Terrorrists. Double standard

The burning and killing of the Fulanis continued till early this morning. The Mambila ethnic group are known for attacking other tribes, The attacked the Pansos in 1982, The Fulanis in 2002 and in 2017, when eventually these groups retaliate then the normal shouts of Herdsmen will start.

So Fulani people who are known to be heavily armed just stood in one place while militia from Mambilla invaded their settlement and burnt over 120 houses? This FAKE NEWS is meant to give the fulanis (who are most definitely planning an attack on the residents of Mambilla) a soft landing when it happens!

Since When Fulani have been killing, there is no where on all your post on Nairaland, that you have ever Condemned the Fulanli Killings on Southerners or People of the Middle belt.

Its Hypocritical, that you knew those killing existed , but you remained mute.

Now , Fulanis are being killed and you are shouting Double Standard. Are you really listening to yourself?

I will leave you with the words of Martin Niemöller to ponder on.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

More grease to the elbows of whomever launched this attacks, which more people can stand up to those savages and pay them back in their own coins. I pray they try to disregard the anti grazing law in my state Ekiti so we can put them down like the dirty rats they are once and for all.

Its everywhere in Nigeria. If its not fulani, its religous killing, armed robvery, kidnappings, cultism or killing over tribe or aome petty stuff. There is no sanctity of life in this country

Good news. I hope the south south and south east would tow in this path. This is the only way these fulani herdsmen would behave themselves as they have been behaving like the untouchables. Government is not protecting us so we have to do it ourselves.

Let's assume this is true, will the so called Fulani attack the people who attached them first or will they attack other innocent tribes that have no business with them?

The Fulanis in Mambila are the Most peaceful people Ive ever known, I lived for over 18 years in Mambilla and I have been visiting since i left in 2005.
Its true they were attacked and killed and Maim, Its a Pity they chose to allow the Mambilas to continue killing them I was there in 2002 when they were attacked it was horrible.
They should armed themselves for self defense or perish in the Hand of the Militias

see lies!

daily trust is creating a cover up story to give reasons why fulani will commite the atrocity they already planned on the people of taraba!

i mean how can they report that fulani village was attacked and more than 17 fulanis killed!

same fulani that went fully armed to intimidate the state assembly?

same fulani that every tribe and region in taraba is scared of them!

ok u know what? daily Trust pls furnish us with real pics and videos not acting like they normally do - or i don't believe it!

i can bet that 3 weeks from now there will be massive fulani attacks on the people of taraba and benue!

Daily Trust we are in Ramadan and you are telling this kind of lies! fear Goduooo!

MODIFIED: THIS STORY CAN ONLY BE TRUE IF THE SUPPOSED MILITIA MEN ARE THEIR FELLOW FULANIS TRYING TO RUSTLE THEIR COWS. PERIOD!
The publisher of daily trust is a Fulani. Nda Isaiah I stand to be corrected.

Nop, this is wrong, it will be an endless circle, those fulanis are persistent. Just do as i say "set an ambush for them, wipe out the attackers only" just do this 3-4 times & you will have peace.

But if you attack them families, well you are on ur own, as reinforcements will just keep coming

I also do not support or encourage ethnic killings, I believe it is barbaric to kill a fellow human being based solely on his ethnic origin. But the point im making is the silence from a section of the press when the victims happens to be Fulani. Imagine the headline in Punch or Vanguard if Herdsmen had burnt 120 houses and attacked villages.
