It should last for about a month or so. My advice is that you change the entire motherboard. That would cost you more though since you'd have to rehack the console and reinstall your games. But it pays in the long run.

After reading this fear of even playing gta on my slim has risen.My slim is very neat and makes no noise you would even doubt fan dey even blow

eyah, u no even enjoy ur game...My friend has been using a Fat for 7years now, and e neva Ylod,..Mayb u did'nt take good care of ur console man...Sell your dead console, and buy anoda one, or rather buy a Ps4..I got a ps3 superslim for grabs

no it just switches off normally and the red light won't show again like the power has been taken
